I haven't deadlifted in 5yrs and its just so much better. I thought I HAD to do it because its a real man lift, its bullshit. My back is stronger and looks better than ever.
Also, if you aren't lifting for competitions, its a pretty useless lift.

Surgeons are pushing it so we damage our spine and they can fix it.
I suspect that a certain powerful group which begins with j is involved too but for now I have no proof

I stopped doing every exercise that threatens the spine. Except for overhead press but my form is flawless so thats okay.

I stopped doing flies and did more bench instead because dyels here recommended the opposite.

I'm thinking about stopping this because it has never felt comfortable to me. I've never been injured or had any pain though.

A big conventional deadlift is like anti-reddit. The most obvious reddit lift is squat

Face pulls also because I there never, ever a cable machine open at the gym. Stopped squats and deadlifts because of injuries.
    >yo-you just did them wrong
Sure I did fatass. That's why every powerlifter I knew with over 5 years of training has had squat or deadlift related surgeries even the young 22 year old guys. That's why every powerlifter you see has some "assistance" equipment like sleeves on, because they're injury free of course!

No. I don’t care about others opinions and basing what lifts you do on whether or not how reddit it is makes me think you don’t actually lift weights.
