    Yes, and I like to piss people off when I do them. I take a bench, put it in a squat rack, grab a bar and load it up with 10 & 5lb plates up to weight I want, then get to work for 5 sets of 10-20. If someone makes eye contact while I’m at the bottom and glares, I just give them a smile

        F1 drivers are in better shape than 99.9% of this board. They need to hold up to the g force of turning and driving that fast, they need to be strong but also lean because every extra pound is another pound the car has to carry. Their necks need to be solid, holding your head up under those forces is brutal.

    I do neck curls + extensions twice a week in my commercial gym and do not care if people look at me. Aesthetics aside, they are a must if, like me, you are prone to neck strains.

        I think I'd agree to disagree on this one, anon. Tyson used to do these and he got massive neck gains, granted he might not be doing them anymore, moreso after the surgery but its understandable he'd ''tone down'' the training intensity with time and he doesnt to have too many back problems, even at his age.

        Additionally as long as you stretch properly and dont go too high with the bridge, it should be perfectly safe. In fact I'd argue it even helps your back stay flexible and mobile, the trick is doing it progressively, and also switching sides to do the front leaning variety. Its not like its compressing your spine either, which is what happens with weights.

        Ive noticed the few times Ive tried the head cap or just directly putting the discs on my head I end up with a headache, which oddly does not happen when I do the bridges.
