Is there any benefit to doing this exercise? I did this yesterday exactly like the guy in this picture has it set up and got 345 Lbs for an absolute grinder. Is it a waste of time to try and get as strong as possible with this?

I've done 405 from the floor and from pins. I don't train specifically for it. It's literally just a gut check lift dealing with discomfort.
i’ve never done them off the pins, i have done up to 385 zercher deadlift, and then 440 zercher squat. i love doing them, and i really believe they’ve helped build my back and legs. i also copied Tom Haviland, and do zercher carries, 500-550 x 20 yards a “set”

I can go atg with zerchers as the barbell acts as a counterweight so I get the full ROM benefit.
I can only go to parallel with back squats, and its uncomfortable to do so. Any lower and I'll fall backwards.

You can probably go pretty heavy on these compared to off the floor zercher deadlifts which are impossible for most people so yeah go for it man
