I do the laziest cardio. I just do slow ass spinning in front of my computer while playing hearthstone (I put the mouse on a shelf at the right height).
Does it matter what kind of cardio you do? or is any light sustained cardio good, I'm looking to cut in the next couple months and really wanna make the process faster by adding cardio.
the issue with going so simplistic with it though is that there are numerous factors where the body doesn't produce the response desired from cardio until you walk for what could be multiple hours.
however there are still benefits.
10k steps a day cuts almost all disease and death causes by half. obvious diminishing returns apply.
the 10k steps is from a japanese commercial, studies have found benefits continue to at least 16,000 steps but it could even continue further, just hard to get participants doing 20k + steps a day haha

If it's just about losing weight any form of activity is sufficient, even just walking

I run 120km a week on asphalt, never been injured. pure cope cope cope
I started doing 5-10 mins of running before my workouts. Is that enough to have a positive effect? I go at a pretty fast pace.
Would it be better to go at a slower pace for 15min instead?
