It's football they aren't going into the fricking infantry, the punishment is completely unnecessary. Giving someone impossible tasks isn't going to make them better players it's only going to make them fear and resent their coach. Especially if that homosexual can't even do what he's putting on the players. You know what people respect? A leader that leads by example if you can't do it why force it on them? And if you can't do what you're asking of them why should they follow you?

Zoom zooms are weak but to be fair this is probably a consequence of many coaches being failed athletes instead of people with degrees in exercise science or nutrition.
I remember back in highschool we had a few dipshit coaches who thought protein powder was steroids, that drinking water during workouts makes you weak, that expecting kids to just be able to run 10 miles each workout regardless of their individual starting points was more reasonable than segregating them into different groups for training plans, lighting doesnt matter until you hear thunder, etc.

I'll bet this moron tried to put kids through the Rock Lee workout and told them that they were being weak if they didnt keep pushing after a point where several of them unknowingly had labral tears on top of CNS fatigue.

Running until you puked instead of following a real strength training routine is probably why you guys sucked. On top of that your coach probably couldn't game plan for shit (probably to the point where a fifteen year old with a Madden habit could outscheme them) and thought that your team would magically be able to physically dominate opponents if you all did insane workouts on a daily basis, threw some tubs of lard on the line, and had the black kid run the ball. Happens all the time.

            >The military may have pussed out but Texas football is as mean as ever
Training to exhaustion is not an efficient method of training. Take powerlifting. Will you go balls to the walls every day? No, that isn't effective programming.
You aren't wrong that these kids are pussies, but the coach here is very likely a moron that doesn't know anything. Military drill instructors and recruit division commanders know very well what to look for and how hard to push individuals. They are softer today because the recruits are softer. Imo they should increase the length of basic for all branches by an additional month.

We are talking about how to effectively train/lead a sports team of late teens. It's a field that involves both psychology (how to motivate and create cohesion) and sports science (the best practices for achieving x results with y training).
We are not talking about running a penal battalion of meat grinder frontline forces, although you could probably do well in one of these, as the meat.
What you are ranting about is a multi-factored thing that is beyond the scope of "heh, back in my days we were tough and based morons".
If you manage to put your team players into the hospital as a direct result of your leadership, you are by every conceivable definition an incompetent moron. There are no ifs and buts, and the boomer tough schtick you're spouting is equally irrelevant.

Using training as punishment conditions people to hate training and teaches them to halfass the main workout so that they'll have enough conserved energy in case your dumb ass plans to punish the whole team again because Billy showed up to practice late.
If you need to punish someone at a workout the correct thing to do is send them home. Don't start fricking with how people perceive fitness for the rest of their lives. Shit like this is probably at least a quarter of the reason America is so goddamned obese.

What is happening? Hospitalized for push ups? Our football team had to run pukers (full sprints until total puking failure) and no one went to the hospital. I work with some young guys who are around 20, were high school football players, hockey players, soccer players, etc. who go to the gym as much as me and I am baffled how my old ass, that never played sports in 20 years, out performs them physically on a daily basis. Is it because of the shitty snack bars they eat? The video games? Parents made them get vaxecuted? Söy in all the food breading? All of it together? I don't know but listening to them talk in their squeaky voices and whine about their hurt backs is depressing. I want these guys to be monsters instead of acting like b***hy women.

That's actually very easy... I can do roughly 80 in one set.

Not in one set but im sure you could do 300 in 6 sets of 50 with a few minutes rest inbetween each in the space of about an hour. I'd probably get to like 200 and give up though.

That easy. They have eaten their food out of a box for the last 20 years, 50% of their calories being hydrogenated vegetable oils.

Extreme punishment in the face of loss is counter-productive.
Positive or negative punishment where due is good
IE positive: punish them by having their teachers give them extra homework so they are encouraged them to focus more or lose free-time because they have extra effort to put in for school - basically be a better athlete or you're going to be forced to be more studious, which is a win-win
Negative: Do not allow them to attend some fun extra-cirucular activity, then they hear about how much fun the people outside of the team had and are encouraged to focus up so they can join their friends and fellow-students in the fun of the next event.
Taking your anger/frustration out on your players with extreme punishment will make them resent you and lead to further losses, since focus on the task at hand will be diminished because they can't stop focusing on the what-if of the extreme punishment that might come if they lose.

Black person coaches fight for their athletes to do less because they need them to win games not know their abc’s. Fricking dyel loser.

Punishment and reward don't even matter, really. You can't teach someone to play football any way other than teaching them how to play football. Punishment and reward contribute nothing to the transfer/acquisition of skills. They only exist as motivators, but anyone who wants to learn will turn up motivated to do so anyway.

Reward is worth doing for other reasons tho.

The point is that if you wait until someone performs badly and then punish them it looks like they improve afterwards but they don't- an unusually poor performance is... unusual. They're only regressing to the mean.

Why is high school football still the most boomer moron sport? Literally every sport I can think of has a modern, proven training system, except high school football. Do the coaches have CTE? Do they just pass on their dumb frick “training” techniques because of generational moronation?

Hell, even high school golf teams nowadays have standard weightlifting programs…

This wasn’t normal training, a couple homosexuals did something and so the whole team had to suffer. This has been a normal disciplinary action forever.

Football prides itself on former players becoming coaches first and foremost instead of people who are actually qualified to coach and train. Pair that with the CTE and the fact that damn near every highschool coach is salty that they never went pro or played in college themselves and you'll have your answer as to why the cycle perpetuates.

Sounds like the problem in most of your schools is that you failed to develop good athletes and those who did never went home to coach for a while at least. Sad!

you call me a moron, but i can't call you a Black person?? you are also a homosexual

The worst part is the hypocrisy.

The games have only 11 minutes of action
Each player plays for 6 minutes in a 3 hours game
    The rest are breaks

ALL the games are the same. Theres no difference between all the games. Nothing like the Messi's dribles and pass from yesterday

Its always the same: a white guy called Kevin Wonderboy All-american throws the ball to a Black on parole called DeAndre Lotavius Jackson III, he tries to pass the wall of fatsos. If he cant, some guy can try to kick the ball over that weird goal.

    Its always this shit
And amerisharts spend 3 HOURS of their lives to watch 11 minutes of this shit (when they could only watch the highlights that are all the game minus the breaks)
If you doubt me, just watch the highlights (aka the game minus the breaks)

People who are in a culture that pushes everything to the limit (reps, conditioning, mentality) shouldn’t be punished when people reach a limit and get hurt. If People want their kids team to win on Friday, they should fully expect kids to work until they like. The standard for success in texas is so high that unless you are a little on the sociopathic side as a coach you will get dominated by teams whose kids are more hard nosed. Players should hate their position coach and love their head coach and coordinators.

This is also why I got out of the sport. We had like four or five kids who were multi sport athletes who could have received offers in the last ten years or so be injured or have repetitive stress injuries which contributed to them not getting signed. This shit ruins lives and is honestly not worth it. But once you’re in the culture and have done half a season of work and everyone’s depending on you it can be difficult to walk away for your health. One of my best athletes could only read at a 4th grade level as a senior and we worked him like a dog. He tore his hamstring in track after dealing with pulled hamstring during the entire fall. He lost an offer from a d1 school as a running back/pitcher and now works at the lumber mill in town. So yeah
