Fish is based as long as you eat mostly smaller and shorter lived fish (yellowfin tuna, salmon, whitefish, prey fish like deens, and seafood; as opposed to swordfish, shark or albacore).
where would ahi fall
In the trouser trout family.
oh cool thanks for the advice, I was at the supermarket and looking at the tuna and couldn't decide between that and the fricking copiously available shark meat?????????
Is this sarcasm? Does your grocery store seriously not sell shark?
Not tuna. Too much mercury
Only the big ones. Ahi/Yellowfin isn't too bad and the selenium content offsets what it does have.
euro here
why would you even warn against not eating too much swordfish, shark or albacore?
are they at least semi-common in where you live, presumably US? you gotta try hard to source them here
I love fish and eat frozen, fresh or canned at least 7-8 times a week
Swordfish and albacore tuna are in virtually every big grocery store in America. Mine local store stocks shark too, but I love on the coast.
Not worth it honestly. Unless you live in Norway or Iceland. Majority of it comes from polluted farms when Fish is literally fed garbage and micro plastics. It's also expensive when compared to other meats.
this but also this
Also prawns are literally farmed in toxic waste, so much so that even standing around those farms can cause damage to your health. Farms in thailand literally contain toxic and sometimes radioactive waste. Watch some documentaries on it to get redpilled. DONT TOUCH THE PRAWNS
Farms in Norway are the worst, moron.
Frick you you Black person monkey subhuman
kys moron
bear in mind we are absolutely raping the sea worldwide. only eat fish occasionally and eat what is sustainable in your area
Boohoo, cry more you dumb Black person.
Sardines (contained in olive oil) are very based. Very tasty and will make you smarter than most non-sardines eater, as you will be filled with omega 3 fatties (among various other benefits).
Other fishes are expensive and often not worth it, consider getting oysters though.
Mackerel is the best fish imo. Enough for a meal and very nutritious.
Wish there was fresh mackerel sold near me

Salmon makes my skin shine I highly recommend. However it's a bit expensive where I live :/
Tastes like shit
Smells like shit
Looks tasty
For these reasons its garbage.
Coastal people are the smartest on the planet. Compare this to the most moronic people on the planet, Africans who are pretty much landlocked apart from Egypt (smart people cradle of civilisation) and South Africa (at least they managed infrastructure)
Point is, fish makes you smart
>tfw can't stop craving canned tuna
I just ate 100g of wild alaskan smoked sockeye salmon in a Persian flatbread with cream cheese and spring onion and cucumber. Shit was blood red.
you should eat fish once every weeks or so, but smaller ones and go for nutrient rich ones. e.g. a can of sprats in their own sud, whilst not everyones thing taste whise will cover you for a lot vitamins or amino acids that if you were low on might inhibit your progress and body functions
by no means take this as a goahead to deat a lot of fish as protein or whatnot. not that kind of food and protein stuffing is basically ineffective anyways once you hit your metabolism cap and of roughly 25 grams per meal.
