How do you get in protein??

Hey, just curious how you guys go about it, I recently was recommended to get 160g protein and 80 g carbs in daily. I'm going for a lean build too if that helps.

My base diet is close to that. I use this to make three egg smoothies and one coffee with thickened cream

New at this board so please excuse this but is is okay to eat eggs raw? I do live in the US so our food can be questionable at times.

If eggs are of a high enough quality and are very fresh they are indeed safe to eat raw, but you probably have the same issue I do with eggs like that being basically impossible to find where you live. I just use soft boiled eggs or I pasteurise them which leaves them like a liquid but makes them safe as well as deactivates the avidin in the egg whites making the protein more digestible. You may be able to buy pasteurised eggs, some places do have them and those will be fine uncooked, I can get pasteurised egg whites here but not whole eggs, so mostly I just buy normal eggs and either soft boil them or pasteurise them myself.

Oh I gotcha! I'll have to see what we have again, it's limited or just really expensive. I might just pasteurize them myself or boil them. Thanks!

That’s the easy way to go, once you start eating a certain amount of eggs daily is basically impossible to stop as they are pretty much the ultimate micro nutrient source and you’ll just notice how much more tired and less brain power you have without them. When I want a bit of a boost I just make a smoothie that has ten egg yolks and whey isolate in it. If you eat enough egg yolks you also get this awesome effect where you always wake up feeling really energetic instead of just wanting to go back to sleep.

Honestly, that'd be awesome. I've had low energy for a bit now working out gives me a good boost but it fades. I always take a while to get going and start my day. If I woke up energized I'd immediately kill it a t the gym and start my day much earlier.

similar to what im doing now. litre of milk and dropped to six eggs from twelve. real protein instead of that plant shit. sugar free energy drink instead of coffee until winter. what do you do for work? on top of that ill eat a few carrots and some sort of baked meat, usually ground beef or chicken thighs over the day

That sounds solid, I went from pea to whey isolate myself. Right now work is weird. I do events like concerts and football games and bartend or serve beer. I get good pay and tips but it's inconsistent. Like I might make $300-$600 a night though I only work 2-4 a month. I have college I'm focused on right now. Honestly might get side gigs to support my health, trying to avoid shitty food. I don't have the genetics to handle it for too long.

I live on a pension and am chasing compensation so I don’t need the pension. Milk and eggs have extremely high quality protein, the best protein powders are actually made of milk and eggs but they are expensive and very rare.

you slow or what white boy ?
you need to removes your fat from your calculations, so you take total weight and remove your fat. Then you do a gram of protein per pound of what's left

OP here I said lean just so recommendations don't lean into bulking, I can have more muscle with my weight and remaining fat as it is now. I was "skinny fat" so I'm just burning off my fat I still have and converting that into muscle.
