>Ain't no shame in that.
That's the problem.
I went cold turkey, don't really have much tips. Just fricking do it.
This. I quit eating an drinking sugar and haven't regretted it. I dont even notice the benefits it has done anymore because it has become the default parameters of existence. Everytime you think of eating sugar beyond fresh fruits and vegetables just think of everything that has gone wrong with the state of modern man.
do you even know what sugar you are even talking about?
Sucrose, b***h
Turkey is also bad because of purines, eat chicken.
1) Eat mostly things you make
2) Purchase mainly ingredients, not premade foods, so you can control the amount of sugar
3) Snack on fermented and pickled foods. Worst comes to worst, snack on dark chocolate chips and raisins, as at least they have nutrients.
4) Fast & meditate often to discover the truth of what drives your eating compulsions. Why do you need to eat sugary things? What feelings are associated with the drive to eat sugary things? Why can't you say "no" when prodded to eat sugary things? Can't calm down? Won't calm down? Won't stop and think? Meditation helps you stop and think it through, feel it through, so you don't need to do things that are bad for you. It helps you see it's not so bad to ignore the craving temporarily.
sugar is more than you think, and it is highly addictive. cutting out refined and added sugars is not enough. go keto, but lean more towards the carnivore (animal based) diet, practically 0 sugar. at least until you get your addiction under control.
btw that whole channel i linked is about sugar addiction.
Why do you have coke in the house?
Why do you have chocolate chip cookies in the house?
I don't anon , if they enter my house they are consumed immediately
good, now youre out and dont buy any more, problem solved
fast to reset your cravings
If you have such a sweet tooth, your diet sucks ass and your body is desperately trying to keep you from dying/doing permanent damage via hypoglycemia.
tl;dr: Fix diet, cravings will go away, sugar isn't addictive. Deal with it.
source: Been there, done that
>How the frick do I quit sugar?
Be an intelligent, rational human being and understand that sugar in the form of glucose is your body's main fuel source, fueling every single cell of your body from your pee pee to your brain.
Then quit eating garbage slop for moronic goyim and eat whole foods. Get your carbs in the form of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
Hi my name is Anon and I'm an addict. I quit sugar about a year ago, and the trick for me was that I liked freezer pizzas, but knew I wouldn't get addicted to them. Anytime I felt a sugar craving, I'd let myself have had many freezer pizzas as I'd like. Eventually I no longer had sugar withdrawals and didn't need the crutch of another unhealthy food. I don't eat freezer pizzas now and have lost just under 30 kg.
You're an addict.
anyone else think sweet things are kinda childlike and gay? I just dont crave that shit anymore, then again I always had a healthy relationship with food and did a 0-carb diet for about 6 months for some health reasons
Fruits
sugarless coke brah.
Nothing wrong with sugar breh. It better be mexican coke though.
Drink diet coke? If that doesn''t work drink flavored water.
Start small. Give up certain sugars over time. For me, it was soda first. Then snack items like hostess stuff, eventually you'll be rid of it. The key is to not replace it like going from soda to juice. It is REALLY hard. You may be better off going full no-sugar for a week, then a month. I CANNOT do limited sugar, I have to fully quit or it gets slippery. there is no such thing as a 'once a week mt dew'.
Let it be known that sugar is supposedly harder to quit than most drugs and is pressingly easy to obtain.
Addiction's a b***h.
you crave sugar because your body needs glucose to function. Your organism in an unstable state perceives the availability of something which promises to partially restore the desired stability
Drink water, cook your own food?
What's so difficult about it?
A month ago I quit cold turkey. Smoking as well. If there's no sweets around you it's easier. I wanted to have an ice cream the other day, saw that the packaging says 30 grams of sugar, noped the hell out.
