      That’s not how cancer works.
The reason you get cancer is because your immune system has failed you, and your blood cells no longer mature into white and red blood cells, so they turn into cancer cells, and once there is more cancer cells than healthy cells, the healthy cells get pushed “out” and then you officially have cancer.

The reason chemo works but is also kind of extreme and semi dangerous, is because it will take out ALL your cells, to sort of “reset” your system.

That’s also the e reason they are trying to figure out alternatives to chemo because it comes with great risks and especially older people can’t handle having their system punched like that in one go (which is why kids respond much better to chemo, their bodies/organs haven’t been put a ton of shit during their life)

        Anonymous

Wrong, cancer occurs due to rapid cell proliferation and mutation. This is usually because the body cannot clean and repair itself faster than the senescent cells can spread. If you activate mTOR all the time and have a lot of fat and inflammation your cancer risk goes up exponentially.

        >it will take out ALL your cells, to sort of “reset” your system
Wrong, that would just kill you. Chemo prevents cells in your body from multiplying.

Most believable success stories i've heard was people who used every supplement in the book to boost their health, while trying to exercise, eat healthy as frick, while undergoing chemo. I suppose the "drive" to combat cancer also plays a role, most people already give up the moment they get the news and start preparing the funeral.

My mom had cancer and the damage that was done with the chemo was horrific. She's alot better right now, but certain nerve damage and pain will reside with her forever, which might've been prevented if we knew or were told about supplementation. It's a shame there are so little passionate doctors out there.

      Anonymous

Eh, it's completly random and most of all it's 99% luck.

I had cancer almost 3 years ago, and the nurses/doctors told me that they generally see better results from patients who has been taking care of their health but they respond better to the treatment, but they also said they have a plan and they hope the plan works, that's literally it, they have no idea how patients respond to different shit or what consequences it might have. A lot of people online like to spout this shit about supplements "treated their cancer" but most of those stories still only gave those patients a few more years, they still died of cancer in the end. If supplements worked like you describe, doctors would have no problem suggesting it as part of the programs. Hell, my nurses told me to keep drinking my protein shakes kek. It has nothing to do with being passionate, but they can't just give patients different solutions and "hope it works because I read it online on my doctor forums" it has to be tested and there has to be research that proves it actually does anything. Not just 5 videos on youtube.

        Anonymous

Regardless i will 100% use supplementation if i ever need to get chemo. I'm not saying chemo doesn't work and alternative medicine is the answer, but i do believe the way you eat (more protein as you said yourself), goodnusage of supplements and lots of cardio as long as your deterioating body permits, helps recover from the cancer better, if you recover at all.

Anybody else look at cancer vlogs on youtube, just to see them deteriorate from video to video? But then there is hope, a new treatment, they seem to be getting better. Then all of a sudden they are looking like shit in the next video all depressed that the treatment is not working. Then they are on the deathbed mumbling. Then the last video of their family explaining that they are now gone.
    It's a rush.

There was one video of a guy with cancer getting bad, and his oncologist was telling him that basically they've tried everything and there is nothing more they can do. He was still clinging to hope after that. Ironically the doctor died before the patient due to a bad reaction to a vaccine (not covid). I bet the doctor never thought that would happen lol

This is the guy, the professor in this video died before the vlogger

I watched one guy with thyroid cancer. He was a very militant atheist redditor kinda guy so it was pretty sad seeing it get worse every video and he didn't even try to find solace in an afterlife or spiritual meaning. Of course they are preventable. Western infant mortality rate has fallen from "everyone knows someone who has lost a child" to "near zero" in the past 100 years.
                > There were 789 child deaths (aged 1 to 15 years) in 2020 in England and Wales, the lowest on record. This is a rate of 7.0 deaths per 100,000 population of the same age and has steadily fallen from a rate of 33.0 child deaths per 100,000 population of the same age in 1981.
If mankind was willing, we could pretty easily resolve all of the problems you mentioned as "proof of muh god is evil".

I always figured if I got cancer I'd have as much of it removed as possible, then just keep living my life and if I die horribly hopefully it's shortened by refusing other treatment.

I think the reason why cancer is a scare for a lot of people, is not so much the dying part, it's the fact that people fear getting told "you are gonna die in a year, two max" and just KNOWING they can't help you and all you can do is count down the days, THAT'S the scary part about cancer (and the fact its super fricking random who gets it obv) I mean it's another thing to just not wake up or get run over, at least you just die without really having time to think about your life and shit.
