>3-$400
It's $160-370 at the most, if you buy all new stuff. Why lie?
>just get a goy membership
Here nothing costs less than $80 per month. In a year I'd spend $960. My home gym costed about $300 and I've been using it for 4 years already.
Why the frick would I get a goy membership, drive there, waste time, be forced to listen to moronic music, forced to wait for benches and racks, forced to wipe disgusting sweat off seats, etc.??
If you want minimalism just get a dip station $50-$75. Pushups, inverted rows, split squats. Use a regular chair to elevate your feet if you want.
If you want more get a kettlebell or adjustable dumbbells set. Curls, skullcrushers, swings/RDLs, upright rows/lateral raises, weight for your squats, etc.
>Not a chance.
I've seen prices like that at used markets. New they'd cost 5x as much. It's insane how much the price of iron disks has gone up. Here we're at $2 per pound.
Why the frick are these things so expensive? It's just iron poured into a fricking mould, c**t, these days you have to pay a small fortune compared to what you had to pay previously for frick knows what reason.
Supply chain issues my ass c**t. I'm sick of it, it's all fricked beyond measure. When will this shit stop when will people be able to live normally again?
>Why the frick are these things so expensive?
You know ~~*why*~~.
I lucked out however. Story time. >go to the sports store to buy plates. >take two 45s, two 20s and two 15s. >go to checkout. >cashier is cute girl. >clearly new and doesn't know what she's doing. >looks at my plates, all stacked in pairs. >"Is the price for both of them?" >"Sure." >end up paying half on everything.
Hope she didn't get in trouble. I got everything for about $90. Now with the raises I'd have to spend $250.
>buying a bench, dumbbells and some plates is more work than driving to the gym every time and dealing with shit loud music, shit loud sweaty stinky people, wait times, etc.
Insanity.
Good enough for what? You can get fit just doing a body weight routine. I would add some cardo such as running, biking or jumping rope, and a few pieces of specialized equipment such as grip strengtheners.
better than whatever you need evidently and id bet your bars only that ridiculously low because youre a brain dead third gen urdu that still thinks irish spring is a soccer team and you got a wife lined up back home and all the honeys you want at your local gurdwara because your dad brought over 8 brothers and charged them 1,000$ a month each to live in your 3 bedroom side by side and now you can afford to drive a mustang to your 12 hour shifts at 711.
>complete garbage.
We're not talking about you, stop being so egocentric.
>you need to train shoulders
Benchpressing does it.
>and 60min per week will get you absolutely nothing at all.
moronic take. 60 minutes of lifting with proper intensity will definitely give you ottermode. Source: I've done it.
>60min per week will get you absolutely nothing
Yeah dude your muscles are all like "Zamn, did he train at least 61 minutes this week? No? Just 60? Well frick him then, we don't grow one millimeter this week."
But 61 minutes and onwards? They explode.
Not enough. Working out is not meant to be minimalistic because we have multiple muscles that need to be targeted for a complete jacked look. And those muscles don't look complete with just 1 exercise. This is why bodybuilding coaches employ several different movements for each muscle area. Sticking to one mechanical movement will limit your development.
>everytime this pic is posted a herd of autistic maximalist morons kvetch and autistically screech because they don't want to admit they're idiots who waste 4 times more times than necessary
It's always so enjoyable.
OP: there are 2 kinds of lifters: those who lift for girls and those who lift to impress other men. For the first kind, this routine is plenty. For the second kind it's obviously not, but nothing is ever good enough for those mentally ill, body dismorphic, abused-during-childhood, sad pieces of shit. Just make fun of them and ignore them.
Cringe.
The image is shit because it's convoluted as frick. Almost as if the author had a goal of making a 3 exercise home routine as expensive and impractical as possible.
This is moronic, if you want "minimalist training" just get rings and do calisthenics.
Or even better, go to your local park and do your calisthenics for the low low price of free. The only thing you're missing is proper leg training and if you want that you need either heavy weights, machines or a squat rack of some kind. None of which is in your stupid fricking meme image.
Frick off
>if you want "minimalist training" just get rings and do calisthenics.
We want effective minimalist training.
Stuff your rings and your calisthenics up your bussy.
>power rack or half rack when 2 supports with safeties are cheaper and would take much less room >oly barbell when there are 150 cm ones who are much less cumbersome and just as effective >the bench isn't even adjustable
What a fricking moron you are. Opinion discarded and don't give your input on any issue ever from now on.
Dumbbells for flies, raises, curls etc to replace cables. Its like 300 or so for one set up to about 100 each.
A belt or rope from a punching bag thing to use bodyweight for face pulls and tricep extensions. Id get a 70 dollar bench and do front squats, cleans, and dls before getting a squat rack if 100 dollars is a lot.
Add in a pair of plate loaded dumbbells for oly pl8s. You really don't want to put anything bigger than 10lb pl8s on them since 25+ are kind big for it. Something else you might want to consider is that 180 lbs of 10lbs plates is no more than 9" on each side, so 1pl8 + 10*9 will get you up to 3pl8s in weight and it will fit on the barbell sleeve while having plenty of pl8's for your dumbells. Just don't use spring clamps if you're doing any overhead dumbbell motions. Use some kind of effective locking collar.
Bought a bench and some of these and I can do a full body workout. I am a dyel currently so ill be in a pickle when I outgrow them. I guess I should have bought the powerblock. But now there are better adjustable dumbellls coming on the market. So maybe it was for the best.
no
yes
>The minimalist meme now needs 3-$400 and a fricking tl;dr
Just get a gym membership at that point and follow a program for 3 months. Holy frick.
>3-$400

Sauce
Everyone who posts this shit never posts body, that's all you need to know about it
Yes it's good. Could do more than exercises though.
>140-180lbs of plates

Not a chance.

inverted rows fricking suck.
all of that seems like unironically more work than just buying a gym membership
>buying a bench, dumbbells and some plates is more work than driving to the gym every time and dealing with shit loud music, shit loud sweaty stinky people, wait times, etc.
Insanity.
I wanna drink and smoke mid set without being forced to drive and frick up my buzz.

To get an average trained build
>to get an average trained build
Then sure. Even calisthenics or a park with exercise stations will get you fit and toned.
better than whatever you need evidently and id bet your bars only that ridiculously low because youre a brain dead third gen urdu that still thinks irish spring is a soccer team and you got a wife lined up back home and all the honeys you want at your local gurdwara because your dad brought over 8 brothers and charged them 1,000$ a month each to live in your 3 bedroom side by side and now you can afford to drive a mustang to your 12 hour shifts at 711.
no. it isnt fricking good enough
No matter how many incline clap pushups you do you cant get strong legs or a 3pl8 bench, only a pump.
complete garbage. you need to train shoulders, and 60min per week will get you absolutely nothing at all.

>"nooo it's not good enough because bodybuilding coaches do it differently"
To become a bodybuilder? No.
To get kinda muscular and attractive to girls like the guys in the 3 pics? Yes.
Don't listen to the maximalist homosexuals here. They're just trying to sound like le cool expert. They don't know shit about frick.
let me guess, you need more?

I lift and live for myself.
gays who don't realize how controlled they are by other people's opinions are the worst sheeps.
Cringe.

Just do calisthenics.
>SEETHING
Also

Do you literally chew on crayons?
It's good enough, but I hate dumbbell squats. I would do split squats instead.

spinlock oly dumbbells are really nice
Yes. The info is accurate and that program + diet is more than enough to get a otter/athletic body that girls will like.
Unless you wanna become a mass monster, there's no reason to do more and spend 10x more time and money.
Bought a bench and some of these and I can do a full body workout. I am a dyel currently so ill be in a pickle when I outgrow them. I guess I should have bought the powerblock. But now there are better adjustable dumbellls coming on the market. So maybe it was for the best.
anyone else really miss this era?
/k/ had a similar time with milsurp and poor college kids/wagies just wanting to shoot guns
It was a good age
How do you train spinal erector without deadlifts?
This gay bait has been around for years now. Please let it die
