Nah, I don't have gyno or anything. It's welcome because I look younger. And I'm ogre levels of hairy, so it would be nice if some of my back hair stops growing at least.
Have you been dermarolling as well?
I've been dermarolling for a few months at the beginning, but stopped along the way and only took dutasteride and minoxidil.
Hair was much thicker than before using, but around 2 - 3 months ago it started thinning again.
Thinking about dermarolling again.
Happy for you anon. Balding threads bring out the worst of IST. I never tried it and I'm ok with being bald, but whatever makes you feel best about yourself
I'm at six months
didn't experience side effects but I have no sex anyway so what's it matter
I get off on making my bald peers feel insecure more than getting laid
I've been taking finasteride for years now, at the first signs of hair thinning. But honestly I can't tell how well it and minoxidil are ACTUALLY working for me. My hair has still thinned and receded to a norwood 2 over the years, but keep in mind my hair has always been super-thick in the first place, so even though I can tell my overall scalp on top has lost thickness, it's still thick by normie standards.
But it's hard to tell if this is basically how my thinning would've gone without the drugs, or if it would've been infinitely worse without taking anything. I never felt like I experienced any regrowth either way.
Saw a patient on finasteride last week who wanted a refill on it. Hasn’t noticed any hair loss at all, so I prescribed him a year’s supply and said good for you man.
remember to call in a script saying 5mg qd so that the pt can get #30-90 through insurance and then just tell him to quarter the tabs with a razor blade or pill splitter so he can actually get enough for 4-12 months from one fill.
It’s old as shit so probably pretty cheap. He’s a nurse so he makes plenty of money so it wasn’t necessary but I’ve definitely done that with viagra prescriptions before to help patients save money. Insurance only likes to give like 10 pills a month but if they have BPH and you associate the diagnosis with that instead they can get 30 pills a month. And cialis is approved to treat BPH so the insurance company doesn’t fight it and you’re not lying to them.
It is cheap but cash price is still typically marked up unreasonably high at most chains. That and it's just a pain in the dick to actually write the script for 1-1.25mg qd because then insurance only lets you get a handful of tabs at a time to fit the max days supply that they allow. Independent pharmacies are the best for that sort of thing, same goes with viagra/cialis/etc scripts.
Yes, works. And you can even dodge a prostate cancer. My recall my prostate hurting a LOT for a entire week when I started. My both grandfathers died from prostate cancer... I can piss better now
finasteride doesn't actually protect against prostate cancer. Just BPH, which is still a good thing because I swear like 95% of old men have that problem. Better to stop your prostate from enlarging early on rather than waiting until it's already causing issues pissing and then you need to get your shit bored out with a drill.
Have a supply of finasteride I ordered in January but I still haven't taken any yet. I go through phases where I panic about my hair and then other times I think it looks fine and maybe I'm not even balding much. I've definitely receded and lost some hair but not sure it has changed compared to 5 years ago when I look at old photos. I'm still getting mad anxiety over it. Not sure what to do bros.
Brother in law had a friend that took fin and developed every possible side effect. He was hospitalized after two weeks had to stop and developed what's called Post-Finasteride Syndrome. For the next year he had severe depression, alzheimers tier memory loss and crippling fatigue. He killed himself at 34. If I could remember his name I'd show you his blog where he extensively wrote about how Finasteride ruined his life.

I'm sure he was fit and healthy mentally and physically before taking it and wasn't a depressive hypochondriac that noceboed himself into an heroing
Its just israelite mentality. They would rather try to stop your progress than make any progress themselves. They are terrified of strong healthy white men, and spend all day on this dumpster fire of a website trying to make sure that you don't make any progress or better yourself.
Dear God, I hate the antichrist.
It's not an either/or thing though since they have different mechanisms of action, so you get the best effect when you use both.
Also while neither have bad side effects, I'd argue minoxidil's are worse. I experienced no side effects from finasteride. But with minoxidil, you have to deal with this shitty greasy crap in your hair when you apply it twice a day, it's a pain in the ass. Also the inactive ingredients form a residue on your scalp that can end up looking like big dandruff flakes, not to mention irritating your scalp and being itchy.
Because fitards are schizoids. Either that or the actual schizoids from pol left their containment board. I can't even recommend someone use sunscreen or UV-blocking moisturizer without being called a israelite (hur dur so funny).
Fin is fine for men. I've been on it for two years. My results haven't been as great as yours but I also started with a lower norwood.
The studies are there for anyone to read. And while I'm also skeptical of the medical establishment and "studies", fin was never politicized like the vaccine or puberty blockers or whatever. I trust the numbers and they have aligned with my experience: no sides and no further hairloss.
I might get on minoxidil later to regrow my temples.
Started fin 2 weeks ago
Got prescribed 5mg pills, cutting them into 4 pieces (so around 1.25mg).
So far no sides, have 300 days worth of pills.
Also using minox + dermaroller (will probably change it out to dermapen in the future).
>fit/ hates insecure homosexuals.
Lol. Fit is the most insecure board. Every thread is something like "is X fit approved?" or "how do I [random physical attribute] max?"
This entire board is a fricking shithole.
I normally only come here for /fph/ threads - the rest is unreadable zoomer homosexualry.
But every once in a while I like to bully fin trannies because it's so god damn fun.
calling someone a "fin troony" reeks of insecurity lmao

absolutely obessed holy shit, i promise you dude noone thinks about your "bullying" more than 5 seconds after they read it >you responded your seething!!!!!! Gottem!
im just honestly impressed by your lack of self-awareness ill give you that
lmao it works every fricking time.
Your entire post reeks of copium.
This is why I bully baldies - you can't help but project your plethora of personality defects onto people who are doing nothing more than pointing and laughing at how pathetic you are.
Do yourself a favour and walk away. All I'm going to do is make you mald.
holy fricking hell im going to kill myself, I dont want to live anymore, 22yo had a hair transplant and have been on finasteride/minoxidil for the past 6 months, had i not had the hair transplant i wouldve been completely bald by now/norwood 6 or 7 whichever the sean connery one is. As a result the hair in front is all weird and thin, and they kind of butchered my shit plus I didnt take care of the transplant properly so it looks like black person hair in stark contrast with the surrounding hair and I have weird acne boils all over my scalp. I already have a high hairline so I was happy to at least maintain and experience some regrowth with the minoxidil, but since the past month or so I've been exponentially losing hair worse than I ever have, it's like both fin and minox stopped working, even my transplant is falling out now. Ive been running my hand through my hair all day, and counting the hairs that rubbed off. I'm up to approximately 600. On the 22nd I have a follow up appointment with my dermatologist and I'm going to ask if they can prescribe me dutasteride to stop the shafting. I cant believe after all this time effort and money I still don't have this taken care of. I just want to live my life again but anytime I'm out and remember what I look like I just want it all to be over. I am leaving humanity behind and will be completely bald save for my eyebrows in a month at this rate
>was going to start taking Minoxodil this week >see video from Hasson & Wong about how they see weaker skin in minoxodil using patients and it destroys collagen
frick
Been using minox on the scalp and beard area for nearly a year and I haven't gotten any of the sides that keep getting described, like facial aging or sagginess. The one side I can attest to is that you get slightly darker under the eyes due to the increased blood flow from the vasodilation
I have hair similar to that but thicker and more voluminous. Medium length hair can be a pretty good way to mask a receding hairline since you can just let it fall to the sides of your forehead. But you can't be too far-gone for this to work, and it's a balancing act because if it gets too long it actually makes thinning hair look a hell of a lot worse.
Basically >short hair bad because you can literally just see the difference in hair density on the scalp >long hair bad because its weight pulls it down too much and makes it look thin and stringy >medium length hair good because its long enough to mask a thinning scalp but still short enough to be light and springy and not matted down
This doesn't "hide" anything. People can clearly see the recession. It just looks passable because the hair has a lot of volume in the areas that are still covered. If you tried to pull this off with thinner, finer hair then it would still look like garbage.
>Why is fit against fin?
Potentially devastating neurological side effects. I don't care about the other stuff, I'm just not taking any probability of becoming moronic just to keep some hair that never got me laid anyhow.
<1% chance of "potential devastating neurological side effects" for finasteride
100% chance of devastating neurological side effects from being a baldcel
Friendly reminder that rosemary essential oil is clinically proven to be as effective as min without the sides. >hurr durr essential oil are a scam
Just go look it up you moron, yes most of them are a scam, this one is proven to work.
What about sides
Cum is watery, my skin seems softer and my facial hair/body seems to grow more slowly but that's it.
Oh so you’re becoming estrogenized
im on fin since a year and i feel zero side effects
same beard, cum, dick
maybe its because im like 10% bodyfat so there isnt much estrogen going on
>be on dutasteride
>stronger than fin
>test increase
>horny af
>lifts improved
>hairmog crab minded baldies
Take the dutpill anon

I've actually been thinking about dutasteride. Fin did frick all for me on my last cycle.
Nah, I don't have gyno or anything. It's welcome because I look younger. And I'm ogre levels of hairy, so it would be nice if some of my back hair stops growing at least.
Because looksmaxxers who have normal dht and test take it and don’t have enough free test in there system to compensate so they grow breasts.
Worried about sides. I started topical fin though
sides go away after a while if you push through it.
