        >I'm 40 and would absolutely NOT go back to looking younger.
this is true for most men, aging is the only thing thats most men. when people see old men, they think "men." when most people see non old men, they think "loser" or "geek" or "betamale." Majority of men are better with age. and as men age, they stop being judged on looks, which most men dont have. so aging is a benefit for men.

retinol does make your skin sensitive to outside factors but usually when you start the treatment you have to make sure you use weak concentrations first like 0,2%.(or you will literally get a chemical burn) After some months you can get a stronger product

High does retinol (i.e. pre-formed vitamin A from liver, eggs, retrinol supps) is the natural form of Isotretinoin/Accutane and Tretinoin. It's not promoted much because high doses during pregnancy will cause the fetuses bones to malform at a critical stage, so if every woman was taking retinol for clear glowing skin they'd be thousands of deformed jellybone babies born every year, so it's kept on the hush.

          >Hypervitaminosis A refers to the toxic effects of ingesting too much preformed vitamin A (retinyl esters, retinol, and retinal). Symptoms arise as a result of altered bone metabolism and altered metabolism of other fat-soluble vitamins. Hypervitaminosis A is believed to have occurred in early humans, and the problem has persisted throughout human history. Toxicity results from ingesting too much preformed vitamin A from foods (such as fish liver or animal liver), supplements, or prescription medications and can be prevented by ingesting no more than the recommended daily amount.

          >Symptoms may include:

          Changes in consciousness
          Decreased appetite
          Dizziness
Vision changes, double vision (young children)
          Drowsiness
          Headache
          Irritability
          Nausea
Poor weight gain (infants and children)
          Skin and hair changes
Cracking at corners of the mouth
          Hair loss
          Higher sensitivity to sunlight
          Oily skin and hair (seborrhea)
          Skin peeling, itching
          Vomiting
Yellow discoloration of the skin (aurantiasis cutis)
Abnormal softening of the skull bone (craniotabes—infants and children)
          Blurred vision
          Bone pain or swelling
          Bulging fontanelle (infants)
          Gastric mucosal calcinosis
          Heart valve calcification
          Hypercalcemia
Increased intracranial pressure manifesting as cerebral edema, papilledema, and headache[3] (may be referred to as Idiopathic intracranial hypertension)
          Liver damage
          Premature epiphyseal closure
          Spontaneous fracture
          Uremic pruritus

            >Vitamin E appears to be an effective treatment in rabbits, and prevents side effects in chicks
            >Taurine significantly reduces toxic effects in rats. Retinoids can be conjugated by taurine and other substances. Significant amounts of retinotaurine are excreted in the bile, and this retinol conjugate is thought to be an excretory form, as it has little biological activity.
            >Red yeast rice ("cholestin") – significantly reduces toxic effects in rats.
            >Vitamin K prevents hypoprothrombinemia in rats and can sometimes control the increase in plasma/cell ratios of vitamin A.
            >Phosphatidylcholine (in the form of PPC or DLPC), the substrate for lecithin retinol acyltransferase, which converts retinol into retinyl esters (the storage forms of vitamin A).

That's only for pregnant woman and women who may be pregnant and not know it because of the risk of certain deformaties in a critical stage of the first trimester. And even then pregnant women who are at risk of vitamin A deficiency are recommended to take 10,000 IU a day or 25,000 IU a week throughout the pregnancy.

It’s okay mothers get free stem cells from their unborn children that’s why they have soft skin and some don’t get stretch marks. They absorb free nutrients from the growing baby making excess stem cells. That’s the real youth. Retinol is best taken orally so that it goes into your skin from under the subdermal layer.

Oral retinol is OTC accutane. Like accutane is can cause birth defects during the first trimester when many women won't even be aware they are pregnant. Otherwise it will give you perfect glowing skin and millions of people take both for that effect.

Sounds like a biotin/b-vitamin issue. Places with more skin cell turnover, like lips and skin folds, consume lots of biotin and b-vitamins to produce new cells. If you have a biotin or other b-vitamin deficiency that production becomes defective and shows up there first.

Tretinoin is a nothinburger... you just put in on your face and don't let it interact with any other products too much and you're good. As far as the accutane, for most people the worst of it is that it just dries you out, so chapped lips, nosebleeds if you're not shoving aquaphor or some shit up there every now and then, dry eyes that drops can deal with, even rectal bleeding if that area starts to get dry enough too. Muscle aches/joint pain happens to some people, probably particularly relevant for you if you're hanging around here. All the others are rare enough to not really highlight all that much, but they are pretty damn wild. The only seriously dangerous things that can happen are intercranial hypertension or liver damage, both rare and you'll be tested for the second every month anyway so that's not an issue. Just don't keep taking the pills when you've got a severe headache/nausea/vomiting/blindness like an idiot and you'll be fine.

Makes your skin soft, which makes it easily bruise and get cut. Also, gives you redness and dry skin on the applied area, but it's temporary as your skin will adjust.
Makes you susceptible to sunburn, which is why you have to constantly wear sunblock.

Too costly and it takes a long time to see the results.
Just use tretinoin. A single tube usually lasts 3 months, and with insurance, it only costs $8 for me.

Just get Differin. It's in the same category as Retin A and it easier to tolerate. It takes longer to get the same results but you end up at the same place. It's cheap and over the counter.

I don't want to look 20. I'm 32 and people still think I'm in my early 20s if i shave. My brother is 35 and actually looks more handsome than he ever did in his 20s.
As long as you aren't fat or bald your 30s are the best looks wise.

The doctor on prescription. Or in America you can get Differin/Adapalene OTC, a third generation retinoid cream. Oral retinol capsules are OTC as vitamin A.

im 26 and still get acne / have red spots from old acne. I use an acne wash daily to twice daily, salycilic acid, and hyaluronic acid and moisturize with extra virgin olive oil I wash off so it doesnt clog my pores. Im about to take accutane. Being 26 and having acne albeit relatively mild is such bullshit

For frick sake, just make carrots part of your daily nutrition. Also any homosexual buying whole separate bottles of vitmains instead of just getting a daily multi is a spastic 'health conscious' hipster homosexual sperg. Taking any vitamins at that level are so fricking stupid, you're literally paying for brightly colored piss & thats it. I take a centrum silver for ages 50+ twice a day and if I shave my beard I go from 40s to 20s and thats after nearly 2 decades of smoking. Why do tards on IST always shell uselessly high levels of supplements? Killing your kidney for nothing cause I guarentee none of ya'll are drinking enough water with this shit.

Use adapalene/differin OTC and oral retinol (unless you're a woman, then look into the preggo side effects first).

few weeks for forehead lines to appear more shallow, but the skin started feeling smooth and not porous anymore much sooner. after a few months the dark circles under my eyes, which I had since childhood, are much lighter

why would you want this? granted I am only 23 but I've enjoyed aging so far, looking like a grown man. The main downsides to aging seem to be physical pains and weakness, and possible balding in your 30s or so, unless the thing in your pic will keep my joints and bones 20 years old I don't care for it.

also many moisturizers include retinol already so you don't need to worry about it if you use a good moisturizer brand

Adapalene/Differin is OTC in America. Otherwise retinol.
