My lifting sessions are all 1.5-2 hours long. How do I bring that down to 1 hour or less?
I hit 10 sets of biceps and 10 of triceps on top of my compounds and this adds on like an hour.
Upper body is 3X a week btw; 30-40 sets of bicep/triceps a week
supersets, shorter rest periods, leave your phone at home
> shorter rest periods
Gay advice. You should be resting a minimum of 3 minutes between each set and 5 minutes between each exercise.
Y that behelit look so derpy
bought from aliexpress most likely.
Train cardio to lower your rest time.
you're overtraining and should lower your volume
this, 30-40 sets of bis and tris is maybe the most hairbrained thing i've heard in a minute
Do you really need that much volume?
I'm assuming you're already supersetting the bi/tri stuff, in addition to some compounds.
1.5-2 hours isn't too long btw, 2-3h is stretching it, 3h+ and you're doing something wrong.
stop doing ten sets lower it to 8
Can’t answer this without more information, like how old are you? What are you training for? Do you have any injuries and so on? You can definitely do things more efficiently but without more context is impossible to advise properly.
do only compounds
vertical day (ohp n pullups)
Leg day squat type movements
rest
horizontal day (bench n rows)
Leg day hip hinge movements
there you go you're set for life
every 3 months change rep ranges switch from strength, to hypertrophy, to high reps, etc.
maingain during strength phase, bulk during hypertrophy phase, cut during high rep phase
you've solved natty lifting
did these two frick after the convention ended?
>Sets
Weakling. I lift until I get bored or tired.
AND YOU'RE PROBABLY DYEL
Don't assume I'm as weak as you are, mongrel. If you can't lift more than five times without heaving and needing a break, then you are an INVALID.

Consume more energy boosters, take shorter breaks between sets, and eliminate excessive exercises. Simple as.
>30-40 sets of bicep/triceps a week
This is about double what you should be doing, bro.
