    Why would you want to? Do you not sweat or hydrate? Too little salt is much worse than too much.

      Is correct though and the iodine added to salt is the main source for most people unless you eat a lot of eggs or seaweed.

        it's a staple for me now, I take a pinch every morning with my coffee. probably just fixing a deficiency but I've felt way more energized and less anxious since

    Why would you? You body is great at regulating salt. If you eat too much you piss it out in like 2 hours anyway. In clinical trials low sodium diets have worse health outcomes than high sodium.

    the only snoyentifically proven drawback of high sodium is a correlation with blood pressure in the single digit mmHg region. the salt scare is a fricking nothingburger.

    You don't, you enjoy it.
    As long as you don't go over 25g a day you're going to be fine. Our kidney's main goal is to keep that shit in our body as much as possible.

    Salt is needed for muscle function. Eat a lot of it and drink a ton of water. You will gain a lot of "water weight" and look fuller and more jacked. Muscles are mostly water and they neeeeeed sodium.

    I don't understand how people eat highly salted foods. I use just a little bit of salt to enhance the food but other's just use the food as a vessel for salt.
