Lol no. Being tall gives you a big upperhand in boxing, because reach matters a lot. There are guys like Mike Tyson who devoloped a style and managed to work around it but that's not the case for 99.9% of boxers.

With grappling, there is a better chance small and but trained guy to win. But boxing, if you're facing someone double your size and the big guy has some basic training, it doesn't matter who you are, you are going down.
That's it's better for manlets to be grapplers rather than strikers for real life situations.

Wasn't Tyson one of the lighter heavyweights and also often at a severe height disadvantage? You okay anon?

          Anonymous

Tyson in his prime used to weigh in at 218 pounds. For reference this is six pounds MORE than what 6'7" Deontay Wilder weighed in his first fight with Tyson Fury.
At a certain point mass is no longer beneficial even among heavyweights. A 218 pound fighter vs a 175 pound one is a very big difference, 218 vs say 245 is no longer a major difference.

no one had to 'trick' manlets into being overaggressive little copers. ask yourself who you see talking about fighting and mma and 'could totally kick your ass bro'. theyre always shorter than you. manlet rage is innate to their species.

Yeah thata the whole point, that a significantly smaller male does have a chance if there's a skill gap. No one is saying that if two equally skilled men fought, the bigger one isn't likely to win.
