You're probably an unathletic moron. Some people just don't get it, you aren't built for this. You are trying to adapt athletic high performance behaviors but you are a dysgenic lump. You are completely out of tune with your body, you are incapable of feeling yourself, understanding what is going on with your body, and making adjustments. You just walk into the gym and brainlessly lift and put down certain weights a certain amount of times without any sort of awareness in whether what you are doing is effective and why or why not. I did this exact shit when I was 14. You are (and I was) doing one of 3 things:
>Not eating enough protein
>Not training hard enough
>Not training often enough
If you work out 3+ times a week and eat enough protein and you are sore most of the time after your workout you WILL gain muscle
