>short torso
superior shape to have fcktrd
Unironically a good thing for bodybuilding
Which goat bodybuilders had short torsos?
how about arnold you fricking mongoloid
>claims he could eat a hyperanalyst for breakfast
>won't
what a lying b***h
High volume advocates:
>love handles
>he doesn't know what hips are
>hips that squish when wearing pants
you are so american, fat and publicly educated that it shows in your thoughts.
>verification not required
So he followed SS for 10 years, but cut down to relatively low bodyfat, something Rippetoe is adamantly against? Something doesn't add up here.
Not following the program
He's not the first
Some bro ran SS for like 7 years and was fricking huge
I just remember him saying "I just never thought to change programs because the numbers were going up
He is a cool dude who likes weighted calisthenics.
>ss for 10 years
>3900 kg squat for fahves
My knees, they are kneeling on their own
The only non-moron in the thread (before me)
The Only real difference I can see between SS and SL 5x5 is Doing Cleans Vs Barbell Rows, which should I focus on as DYEL?
I think rows + pull-ups are superior, cleans are fun and all but I don't feel they work your muscles that well.
SS is designed to prepare the athlete for football. In that context a greater focus on explosiveness is far more important
cleans do not make sense for anyone not trying to be an athlete
>3x more technical than other lifts in SS
>hit same muscle groups instead of targeting something like back
once you get the hang of them they can be really fun but they are just not really useful to someone starting out with weight training
imagine how he would look if he changed to a brosplit after like 7 years let alone even earlier
Like a dyel ?
what the frick are you talking about moron, he looks great already, and he would look even better if he changed to a more advanced programme as his strength and skill increase.
jesus fricking christ this is the dumbest pig-shit frickface board sometimes
do YOU even lift?
>and he would look even better
You are making yourself look bad. What next, he needs synthol?
I don't get how people like this train. Does he go up 10-20kg in working weight in a year? The rate of progression must be insanely slow. Truly sisyphian
>Linear progression is slow than nonlinear progression
Some big brains in the thread I see.
You're misinterpreting. I meant that if an average lifter had to train on a program as monotonous as SS for a decade they'd either blow out their joints or their brains. I don't get the mental and physical endurance of a man willing to subject himself to this, especially considering there are much much better alternatives at his strength level
i feel like after 10 years you should be past the starting point
His forearms and biceps are pathetic. They could be double that size if he actually isolated them.
Post forearms and biceps
yeah? what about all those SS victims?
Made by fat redditors who did not do the fricking program.
his face isnt suited for shreddedness. should be fat
Drascus is a good guy, no hating allowed
Considering he does weighted calisthenics in his back yard with rusted weights is pretty based. He just jumped on gear a few weeks back interested to see his progress. The people in this thread who see a screenshot of a tweet and make assumptions (like Drascus doing SS) prove how moronic this place is. God I wish I could leave
I've never been able to find the pic since my last drive died, but there was an anon here that did SS for 3 years. He hit 585/365/585 and looked just like the farnese Hercules even down to the penis.
It's believable, I look like shit but I hit
235/500/320/585 after 2 years (SS for 1, then PPST 4 day)
You gotta be a bit touched in the head to do SS for 2 years but I think it's totally possible to hit elite numbers on it.
I miss squatting 3 days a week but also will never go back to it.
I don't think you're supposed to do "starting strength" for two years. It's for novices. And you are supposed to change the program up and add different exercises if I'm not mistaken.
Sure, but you can't deny that squatting 3pl8+ for 5x5 per workout will get you huge.
The one thing I like about juggernaut is that my 5s are either stupidly heavy or easy and technique focused.
arms could be waaay bigger after 10 years
sometimes i feel like im the only non facially ugly lifter on the planet, is everyone else coping?
Perish Judah!
He looks old as shit
is it the chest hair?
the real trick here is
>10 years
if you're consistent with any routine for 10 years, you're going to look good unless you're a total frickup moron or genetic waste
SS works. You can get jacked on anything if you have good enough genes and take enough test.
>Entire thread is seething at some guy that actually lifts
many such cases on IST!
He probably actually lifted instead of arguing on the internet with a bunch of morons about obscure diets that gives superpowers and should he squat or not.
Bratty kid trying to seduce a married man, needs correction
What anime?
Spy x family
post his legs
>10 years of starting strength
>squatting 3x a week, let's say 48 weeks a year to give time for holidays
>144 squat sessions a year
>progress 2.5kg a session to allow for absolute bare minimum
>assuming he starts with the bar he should squat 380kg in the first year
you could get that in 18 months with enhanced trt + blasts
lighting definitely helping a bit here but he looks good, realistically with good diet and routine this is what natties should aim for. he doesn't have the best insertions i guess but he's done pretty well.
>man bun
This guy looks like he leads expeditions deep into the Congo
He looks good but he's not doing SS, picked a random video of his and he's doing dips then OHP & pullups, then some wrist stuff and random swinging and grip work
Then in the comments talking about how he used to train 5 and 6 days a week
Doing weighted dips listening to jrock is extremely based
