>2 weeks
>bicep tendon hurts a lot when I curl and it's getting worse
>my bicep curl weight and reps have dropped in half and even this is inconvenient and my form is even worse
Is it over?
How can I recover from this?

Why are you doing dumbbell curls at all
no one need dumbbell curls
i guarantee your triceps are under developed
>How can I recover from this?
STOP you utter utter moron
And what am I supposed to do?
Don't listen to that DYEL moron, curls are good 4 u
lol you've been brainwashed by the industry
curls are to men what hip thrusts are to women
you dont need them
they're like shoes
you don't need them but they're really good to have
lol thats a really bad analogy
but you could say they're like wearing lifts inside your shoes
id say wearing shoes is pretty fricking essential to daily life lol
>Falling for the shoe israelite
>talks about muh triceps, ignore biceps!
>triceps pathetic compared to biceps
wtf?
c&s ;3
try cable skull crushers, but with the pin set to the floor, really hits the long head, then superset with pushdowns
NTA I thought I had good triceps and then one day my arms weren't inflamed and my under arm was flabby. I do mostly dumbbell work and didn't do skull crushers.
deload week
Literally just fricking stop doing curls for like 2 weeks, fricking hell
Take the time to focus on other shit
You are one of the stupidest people I’ve ever seen on this board. I don’t know how people like you can even put clothes on without help
Why? It's a fitness related question and more on topic than most threads.
That anon is obnoxious but the message isn't wrong. If your tendon is acting up like this you need to stop pushing it immediately. The last thing you want is a full blown tear.
>The last thing you want is a full blown tear.
Oh frick. Is this a possibility? Can I do chest presses, triceps and other exercises that don't make my tendon hurt? How long? I took a 3 day break (Saturday to Monday) but unfortunately it didn't get better.
You should avoid putting strain on it period. Rest your arms for two weeks and focus on your lower body and core.
>Rest your arms for two weeks
Frick
Resting is just as important as active training. Think more in terms of longevity rather than getting moving quickly.
he's right. If it hurts, don't frick with it or you could give yourself permanent damage. Don't do any exercise that irritates the tendon for as long as it needs to heal.
think of it as being out of mana to cast spells or idk some videogame term
Be more like Guts.
I have a similar thing going on
taking some muscle relaxing pills and resting for another week
should be ready to go in 5-7 days or so
I had severe shoulder tendinitis for about three months. Awful pain that would wake me up at night. I went to the doctor for an unrelated condition - extreme head cold/allergies - and the doctor gave me some oral prednisone to take to reduce the inflammation/stuffiness in my head. Within 4 days the pain in my shoulder was completely gone and it hasn't come back for over two months now. I only took the prednisone for about 6 days. It seems to have reduced the inflammation enough to allow healing to occur.
Prednisone.
