2pl8 bench is NOT impressive

Average untrained guy should easily be able to hit a few reps of 1pl8

Then after that, simply CNS gains and working on form should add 10-20 pounds.

So then we can assume an untrained guy can hit 155 after a few weeks. Then a few months of bulking and eating enough protein with starting strength should get you there. No more than 6 months if you have diet dialed in.

No I am not memeing. 3 plate bench is the absolute minimum to be considered strong.

Average people need 4-10 months of consistent progressive training to get from 1 to 2 pl8s on bench. Unless you're roiding, muscle buildup is limited and it takes time.
I agree that most people (even women) are able to hit 2pl8s within a year, however few will make it to 3plates ever as it requires not only decent genetics but also a lot of dedication and consistency.

I dunno man I have lifted for years and years and around ~275 most people just get stuck forever and never progress. 95%++ of the guys lifting 3pl8 are on gear or they are lardasses that weight 300 pounds and brag about benching 300 pounds.

275 to 300 is just one year of good progress. Once I figured my shit out I went from 235 to 300 slowly but steadily. Youre just overstating the difficulty of 275 because its your personal roadblock.
Now if were talking high 300s to 400 lbs, then yes I agree with you that will be 98% fatties and/or roiders, but a 3 plate bench IS possible as a natty its just not easy.

Even though this is a troll thread, 225 lb at non-victim weight is unironically not impressive. Anything under a 1.5x bw bench for reps is not impressive.

2pl8s on a dyel skelly is actually impressive, on a fat frick powershitter - respectable

        >victim weight
that's sub 160-170lbs, if you say 200lbs then you might suffer from a bad case of ameritardism

victim weight is under 200 lb

A healthy, good genetic stock, protestant anglo-german south-western American man should be 6'1 and thus not weigh less than 200 lb.

ATTENTION ALL ANONS: YOU ARE NOW POSTING IN A FATTY COPE THREAD

          WARNING:
The poster of this comment suffers from a case of “Obesity” as defined by the Body Mass Index.

          REMINDER:
In the history of IST, no natty anon over 200lbs has ever posted body and looked like anything other than a fat tub of shit. This anon also will not post body and will come up with all manner of excuses to avoid doing so.

          NOTE
If even one single natty anon ever posted body above 200lbs and was not a fat disgusting frick, the whole “victim weight” discussion could be revisited. Thankfully, we will never need to do that because what we have here is another case of a fat, disgusting frick coping about his obesity.

I hereby declare this thread closed. Thank you, and may god have mercy on your souls. Stay frosty out there, anons!

Not that anon but I'm 6'4 and I've never gone below 205 while actively lifting. Even when I was sub-200lbs as a teen I was pretty skinny.

comment posted without an accompanying picture of body.
                extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
So far 200+ fatty copers are 0/38,560 tries to prove this statement wrong. You make it 0/38,561

I am 190lbs right now, up from 170lbs two years ago.
My personality has not changed. My ability to enact violence hasn't really changed.
Maybe I'd fare better against some 225lbs guy because the discrepancy isn't so massive, but most people at that weight are just timid fatsos anyway.

Yep.. where everyone gets stuck and then does roids if they want any gains. Over 1.5x BW isn't necessarily "impressive" t just means you are definitely on gear that lets you continue.
