>Hurt elbow/forearm muscle in April
>Havent worked out upper body since
>Still not healed
>Going into Army in 30 days
I need my arm to be healed by then, how can I speed this up?
I have been in a calorie deficit and apparently that doesnt help so I am going to be in a surplus now +try to get into the sauna every day, what else can I do to speed up the healing process?
Bro, you only need to able to do like 30 push-ups to make it through boot camp, its not that serious
Which image us the one where vegeta gets his arm flipped 360 by android 18?
bottom left or maybe middle right
Bottom left.
I made your mistake once. You need to eat a surplus for your body to heal faster.
its not too late to quit
the military is gay
I've already sworn my oath to defend Biden and trans youth, it's too late for me anon.
I just don't want to get medically separated for having a fricked up arm in basic.
been eating goyslop for days 🙁
I got discharged from boot camp for making references to Full Metal Jacket. It is moronicly easy to get kicked out.
lmao what did you say?
Talked about doing a blanket party, got discharged.
Unless you've had surgery to repair soft tissue, or broken a bone, you should ALWAYS be doing what work you can with any injured body party.
This is how things actually heal; force blood into the soft tissue and keep / improve mobility.
If you've just let that arm sit idle all this time then congratulations, you've fallen for the "I just let time pass and stuff magically gets 100% better" myth. You probably now have adhesions and / or chronic inflammation to deal with.
I've been wearing a compression elbow sleeve the whole time.
I've still used to to carry groceries, etc just not at the gym.
Maybe I'll try a lightweight chest day today.
I'm just afraid of making it worse.
You need to be using it in the gym, doing the same exercises you normally do, just at a lower volume (just do the highest volume the affect part can handle - lower the weight significantly if needed, and increase the reps if able).
You should be using bands to force blood into the muscle multiple times per day. Follow the progressive overload principle on this as you would with any lift and it will improve.
The only thing making it worse is your fear of working to make it better.
ok sounds good, I will hit the gym today, work arms, then hop in the sauna and eat a calorie surplus after
ive just never had this significant of an injury before so I didnt really know what to do
Maybe try to find a chiropractor or sports medicine place.
This chiropractor near me does this shock therapy that supposedly tries to kick start healing. They also gave me a bunch of stretches to do.
I think it helped but honestly a lot of it is just time. These types of injuries take time to heal.
May help to make sure you're getting callogen too.
get a medical exception. You're gonna ruin your elbow anon
I already told meps I didnt have any medical problems
my injury has gotten slightly better since it happened but its still not 100%
Don't care, hope you never recover zog war golem trainee.
You don't need an arm to die for zog goy.
