When I was in middleschool our english teacher would randomly pick us to read our answers to last night's homework. I knew someone who when asked would just make up the answers as he went along. His answers were like basic but they were actually plausible and decent enough. The obvious pitfall would be any sort of pause as he tries to figure out what to say next. Of course he could look over the questions first and rehearse a bit in his head. He got caught after a few times, but I think it was more because some other students who knew couldn't keep a straight face and kept looking at him.
