Being a genetically blessed lifetime athlete instead of some genetic cesspool who only decided to hit the gym after never getting pussy in grade school might be a factor.

He was told that because there was more money in it, and he was homeless. He wants to go to boxing.

I don't think you realize how many DYEL dudes at the gym are blasting >1mg of test per week.

        Kinda this tbh.

Is he bigger than dudes making a living outta blasting gear? Nah.

But in gym going populations a gross amount more people are blasting gear than you think. General populace not so much (though that's changing, peds are now more popular than heroin), but "athletic" circles, yea man.... Lotta people on gear but shit protocols or shit genetics relative to chemical choice.

      Uh, okay. So?

You're delusional. The agerage roider in your gym is 200 lbs and 20%. You have no idea how many people with terrible bodies are on gear.

put any cardio athlete in a light mma sparring round and they will gas in 2 min max

Because endurance athletes train for endurance and striking/grappling/mma are high intensity (the opposite of endurance)

5 rounds of 5 min of fighting is pretty intense as far as endurance goes

You have to compare the correct amount of intensity/duration for mma, so a 400m to 1600m runner would probably be easily suited for doing 5 rounds of 5 min fighting, rather than say a marathoner.

Nope that was just his lame excuse. Go see what his idiotic demands were for him to stay. No way that was going to happen. He just wanted out and almost certainly was ducking Jones.

                >In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Ngannou stated that he had requested health insurance, the ability to have sponsorships for all UFC fighters, and to have a fighter advocate present during all fighter contract negotiations. When his requests were denied, Ngannou chose not to re-sign with the UFC,[77] making him the first reigning champion to leave the UFC since BJ Penn in 2004.

Watching football recently, which as we know is by far the best sport, but I have to admit, the top players are mostly a bunch of frankly dyels. When you compare them to a NFL or even NBA player, those sports produce more muscles. Ronaldo has of course a great physique but he specifically worked on it for instagram, the extra muscle actually hurts his stamina on the field.

So yes there's a massive give and take between stamina and muscle. You don't have marathon runners full of muscle. This is also the case for non-elite marathon runners btw. Short jogs or medium distance walks are fine, long distance running is not really compatible with muscle gains or keeping.
