I kind of like Deep Space Nine and Voyager (and even Enterprise) but TNG was the apotheosis of that whole franchise.
DS9 is probably my favorite but you can easily see thats also where it all started going to shit once they started wiggling in how the federation can't actually be perfect.
Then Voyager was just prime directive violation rationalization of the week

Voyager sucked and was a complete waste if tike, Enterprise was leagues better and more original. Butthurt that it was cut short, but that trash voyager when for 7 fricking seasons.
Voyager would've been better if they actually stuck to any of the cool ideas they had like the ship getting slowly more fricked up as they had to repair it with non-federation tech. Shit they didn't even change how it looked even when they popped Borg tech on it.
Like I get they were pissy about DS9 being an overarching story(which fricking sucked once they focused only on the Dominion War instead of space station hijinks) and so went to the purely episodical format that Voyager got. But it was fricking annoying how like no consequences or development from one episode would carry over to the next so there never felt like any real stakes. Would dive deep into Seven's cheeks tho, full on ass-imilation.
