I read years ago that there is a very solid correlation between eating large amounts of nuts and weight loss that science doesn’t understand as they’re so calorie dense
What the frick is a cup? Fricking Americans and their completely arbitrary measurement units. Use liters and grams and meters, you fricking savages. Also it's day > month > year.
Year>Month>Day is the only acceptable order, as its self sorting. Day Month Year is acceptable in conversation only. Month Day Year is never acceptable, there's no situation in which I need to know the month before I know the day, and plenty of situations where the month is irrelevant entirely in conversation or data.

So yeah there’s something magic about them
If you have a good sense of portion control, they're really filling, and that fill lasts. You just need to serve yourself a small amount, not just fill a cereal bowl like you might with a bag of chips. Considering how expensive doing that with nuts would be, it probably self selects out idiots who want to eat big, leaving mostly folks who don't go full moron, and likely have better habits in other portions of their diet too.
Carnivore morons will claim that these extremely calorie dense foods that are universally available and which require no processing to store for the winter months were never a significant source of calories for early humans.
Calorie dense foods are the best foods when you think about it. It is so ironic that the normies believe some diet where they avoid calorie dense foods "because they don't want to get fat". A food that gives you so much energy without taking up much space in your stomach and therefore that requires less processing because it is less material, is all around better for your body. It is the best source of energy.
True nuts are easily digestible, and varieties like pecans, walnuts and pistachios are very low in lectins.
Legumes like peanuts, almonds and cashews are a different story, but we're not talking about legumes, we're talking about nuts.
All of my evidence says only eat meat, with exceptions to those who are starving to death. There is no middle ground, only obvious truth. Plants are bad for us. Meat is good. Consuming both is asking for plant-related issues needlessly when meat has everything and more.
>All of my evidence says only eat meat
Let's be honest anon, you ignore all evidence that suggests people who eat any amount of plants have positive health outcomes.
No, I admit that plant diets can cause atrophy that makes people thin. Can someone consume only plants, living optimally, sustained over an average lifespan? Certainly not.
You're doomed to the diseases of the western world if you do so.

exactly. the post you responded to had nothing to do with exclusion of plants. and certainly not *carrots* which, even the most "anti-nutrient" fearing carnivore would consider one of the safest vegetables.
your response was dishonest no matter how you look at it.

Not him, but yes, obviously. Pretty much everyone who has switched to an only-beef diet for 3mo or more instantly upgrades their health and fitness

Well to be honest, they weren't until we invented agriculture. In the wild, there aren't exactly a lot of nut tree forests (also keep in mind that the nuts we have today have been cultivated over thousands of years, to be a lot bigger and have more calories)
I personally know a guy who actually beat lung cancer, he's extremely fit and his diet consists mostly of walnuts, leaf greens and a shit ton of garlic. He doesn't eat meat and I think limits dairy as well.
Anyway he eats walnuts by the handfuls, he easily downs 3000 calories in one sitting if you were to count every gram of nuts he eats, yet he maintains a very aesthetic and lean physique, he's all lean muscle and strings, does sports daily. It's as if all those calories from nuts won't even deposit into his adipose fat instead it gets all turned into pure energy. As I've said he's extremely fit and also fricking beat lung cancer, there's certainly something good with nuts that I don't know.
think of it as the amount of nutrition a sapling will need in order to survive the harsh first few days of its life, in order to bear its roots into the ground and grow to be perhaps a centenarian, if not a millenia old tree, if it were to remain undisturbed.
For us it sits in the cup of our palm, and seems like a rich, dense snack. For the tree, it bears the promise of a long, perhaps even maybe eternal life.
didn't know how good they are, so ate +10lbs of cashews and peanuts over the past month, and i'm now 120lbs instead of 110 ; ;
and now i get some allergy/intolerance reaction from larger quantities of cashews and walnuts
i'm sad at gaining weight and i'm sad that i can't eat cashews anymore

I'd say people who want to lose weight are more likely to eat nuts
I read somewhere that you're gay
What magazine? The opposite daily?
Owned
your mother is a prostitute
I can't believe your father would say that to you.
both of you kiss rn
Because you shit half of it. Unless you grind the nuts into powder you aren't absorbing them.
You chew them into paste, you mongoloid. Or are you swallowing chunks?
The cellulose traps 25% of the fat and prevents it from being digested.
But aren't humans natural herbivores? I thought herbivores can digest cellulose?
Get a life
they're filling and take a while to digest. i eat them before bed because they keep me from getting hungry during the night.
1.3 cups of peanuts is 1,000 calories. You're fricking moronic, a fat piece of shit and gay.

>"The twenty ninth of February, in the year of two thousand and twenty three"
>day > month > year
I will only accept that if it's DD.MMM.YYYY. otherwise I default to MM.DD.YY.

ok satan

But nuts are not easily digestible. They are full of oxalates and lectins.

that's why you don't eat them raw you fricking moron
Kek.
Make sure to soak your nuts for 3 days in boiling water before consuming!
>oxalates
frick nevermind then
Meat is superior in every way and is easily available throughout the year, moreso than nuts ever could be.
Why eat nuts when you can sugmadick?
>it's another black and white, either / or, binary thinking moron
You can eat meat AND nuts anon.
All of my evidence says only eat meat, with exceptions to those who are starving to death. There is no middle ground, only obvious truth. Plants are bad for us. Meat is good. Consuming both is asking for plant-related issues needlessly when meat has everything and more.

I must eat... I don't know.. so many pistachio nuts I could build a house out of them. I am very lean.

But he got lung cancer in first place
He got lung cancer before, when he still ate normally, meat and dairy and "normal" food.
His diet and lifestyle change is what saved him.

you must have pretty big hands
They look like big, strong hands, don’t they?
The only thing stopping me from gobbling nuts all day is their absurd prices.
