Start fasting one to two whole days a week and using intermittent 18-21 hour fasts every day. Start lifting few times a week followed by yoga. Make sure I'm eating clean. I'd probably start with just calisthenics and yoga exercise wise actually. Wouldn't wanna send our lard bodies into shock.

Then slowly go to maintenance and bring my numbers up until I can move a respectable rep range and focus on hypertrophy with a slight surplus with a sensible upper limit on how much weight I'm allowed to gain.

Recomping isn't the same as bulking or cutting. OP is obese and utterly untrained, so he could lose fat and gain muscle simultaneously.
