I cut to 169lbs @ 6'4" and got a 6pack. You don't see abs if your stomach is covered in fat, simple as. The reason I had to go to what IST would consider auschwitz mode (it's still normal BMI) is that I have no muscle mass in general, so I'm quite light without the excess fat.
OP here, then what weight do I need to be for said 6 pack? I'm 5'9" however. I feel I should already be able to see it

If you're skinnyfat (low FFMI) then it's quite possible for you to have mid-range normal BMI while still being overfat
You probably have tiny arms, legs, chest, back etc.
Also, have you tried flexing? Or are you trying to see full abs under flat lighting with a relaxed core?
according to a scale I'm 12.4% bf right now. I could drop to 10% bf but that means I'd have to go to 130lbs or something. I'm already a skinny freak how much more do I have to drop? I'm gonna look like a skeleton before I get visible abs.
