I’m looking for adjustable dumbbells for my home gym ad I assume it will make it less messy. Any suggestions from you? I’m worrying about buying utter shit that falls apart easily.

Don't get Olympic handles you will regret it
Sometimes stores have blowout sales on the smaller plates
Spring lock collars are secure enough
Spinlocks give a false sense of security
Agreed
I have NordicTrac. They’re awesome, but I’ve outgrown them in everything but arm exercises because they only go to 55. Wish I got some that went up to 80, or were loadable.
You can look for bolt fastened locks too.
>Don't get Olympic handles you will regret it
you can get them for very cheap though, just dont use them if you dont end up liking it
SelectTech
Get the 45 or 90 lb ones
seems the shills had already arrived, kys
>anon asks for advice on what he should buy
>people make suggestions
Im really not sure how else you expected that to play out you fricking schizo
literally every single fricking thread about dumbbells someone is shouting about those plastic pieces of garbage, frick off
Then give your recommendation dipshit, instead of just chimping out about other peoples suggestions
OP wants something sturdy, so the best is probably iron master. if you want quick adjust and are loaded then pepin fast series. powerblock dropped the ball in quality after they got good reputation but is still less trash than blow(job)flex
Enter your email at ironmaster and wait for a sale. buttholes just hooked me with a cable machine I don't have room for
Splurge and get the select tech. Theyre a joy to use and if eliminating mess is your goal theres no better alternative
the ironmaster ones are the best imo
Bowflex selectek or power blocks. Leave the plates for the olybar or curl bar.
I own the Soloflex ones. My brother had the PowerBlock set. I trust the Powerblock ones more. I just worry about the Bowflex ones dropping a weight on my foot. I can actually see how the Powerblock ones are working.
>powerblock
those things look autistic as frick
does it matter? its a home gym
Powerblocks for me, they're actually also the most compact.
>I’m worrying about buying utter shit that falls apart easily
dont worry anon, Im sure anon wont shill bowflex in here
>concrete
>not iron
I have the Nuobell, 2-30 kg
I really like them because they "feel" like real dumbell, not those powerblocks stuff.
For me it was between these and powerblocks. I think powerblocks pros over these are less plastic and you can buy more "blocks" to make them even heavier than 30kg.

Does it go well with your morning Soi latte?
What I want: Ironmaster.
What I have: Nuobell.
(actually not branded nuobell but they must literally come from the same factory).
Are the nuobells any good: They're not too bad. One fell off of my flat bench and was absolutely destroyed.
The replacement I bought came with a little bit of plastic that was too thick, or something. I had to take it apart and grease it because it seized up completely. Still isn't as smooth as the surviving original.
I'd say a set of fixed should be anyone's ultimate goal.
I wouldn't mind olympic handles for some things too but never enough to actually cop them even though I could.
my condolences, pussy wipped small anon
if it helps one person....
anyway ja it's lovely being a NEET with my wifey.
Just get this set, its basically everything you need, and if you need more weight, they sell individual plates of various sizes on thier Amazon store page.
