Admit it

You have been shoulder pressing wrong your entire life. Hoisting large amounts of weight directly above your head is not a functional movement. Doing strict barbell or dumbbell ohp is riskier to your shoulder health both in the short and long term. Loading the weight in front of you allows you to lift safer and get more gains, and on top of that is much more fun because a viking/landmine style shoulder press means you can use your entire body to explode into the lift. Isolation work can be covered by lateral raises. Viking/landmine style shoulder press is clearly the superior compound shoulder movement.

Statistical sciences are divided on almost every issue due to un reproducible experimentation, uncontrolled variables, and ill-defined terms. Quite a few many sport scientists would argue in favor of overhead pressing, and the fact that people are putting 400 lbs overhead in competition means we can in fact do some heavy overhead pressing quite safely, because working up to weight like that requires a lot of consistent success doing so for a long time.

I like the ''science based'' exercise crowd, but the best experience based lifters tend to reach similar conclusions, ideally you should listen to both

nobody needs to work out their front delt, there isn't single human on earth that needs to work on front delt specifically, it will grow on it's own if u stop beating it to death

presses are vital for keeping the shoulders fricked
        Wrong
Weak upward scap rotation will cause you to impinge your shoulders on various motions, which over time will result in injury. Vertical presses keep this function strong, which prevents this from happening

Landmine press is good, yes. Strict military press is awful fir your shoulders and is just masturbation for form egoists, yes. But pressing a barbell over head is awesome for you. Just don't worry about some lean back, it's fine.

As based as landmine rows is, landmine shoulder press and squat is simply terrible for gains.
They dont give you the rom you need, they give you a weird rom with weird tension and they dont allow you to hit your target muscle
    properly.
Should be ok if you want to add in something to improve your general coordination and sheets, otherwise no go.

The power clean to overhead press combo is one of the most natural and efficient ways you can get relatively heavy shit off the ground and over your head.
