        You let your momentum go
A object in motion tends to stay in motion is true
I took some time off as well in fact almost 4 years of skinny fat/ built fat hell
Getting back to my prime self was a uphill battle
But by the time I reached my goal physique again it was easier
Since i had already developed the habits to keep it

This is what fat people feel like, you poisoned yourself with garbage and just getting up stairs gets your winded. The fatter yiu get the worse it is, you will nevee feel healthy again and you destroyed your joints for gains and the cartilage xannot heal or be fixed without an entire joint replacement

I haven't noticed. I'm stronger, bigger, and leaner than I've ever been, and my metabolism seems to be even faster than before.

I'm 45 and working out feels similar to when I was 20. But my joints are not as robust so I have to be more careful.

I've just entered my 40s, I haven't noticed any drop in energy levels and my calorie deficits still work when I need them to. The most important lesson I've learned is the benefit of recovery and taking a week off 4 or 5 times a year. It's all about training smart and avoiding injury these days. Vitamins every damn day.

36-37. I became a dad and consequently had to go back to working the overnight shift so that I could be with my son during the day while my wife is at work. I had worked nights for most of my twenties but there was a noticeable difference in how my body tolerated that schedule now. I was also disappointed at how much it felt like my body was just taking a beating just being a parent and working around the house; simple shit like holding and carrying him aggravated shoulder and neck issues badly.

Imagine slowing down at 27. With a healthy lifestyle you shouldn't be noticing any changes until you're almost 35.

I'm 33 and workout 7 days/week (I do 6 days/week PPL routine and 1 day mobility work for whatever needs to be more flexible). Recovery is the only thing I noticed that takes slightly longer, but I have more or less the same energy/intensity/whatever that I did when I was in college, and even moreso imo because I've been training longer.

I'm 29 and haven't noticed any physical problems, but I take pretty good care of myself. What frustrates me is that my memory is noticeably worse than it used to be, and the well of childlike magic is already dry. So much of life now just seems to be rearrangements of prior experiences, this time as farce.
There are lots of things to do- avoid stress, eat healthy, be sociable, exercise regularly, experiment with anti-aging regimens (anyone have experience with NMR?)- but even when you do all that, it just postpones instead of rejuvenating. Everyone goes through this and I'm confident I'm handling it better than most, but damn bros... I thought I had more time.

I'm 28 and I'm lifting since I'm 16. I started swimming the last years and it massively helped in my muscle and joint recovery. I also use probiotics and mix in Psyllium seed husks into my oats. Never felt better. 2g/kg protein, creatine, zinc, magnesium and Vitamin D + ppl (6 days a week) with a rest day in on Thursday. Deload after every 6 weeks, where I just go swimming 2-3 times.

    I'm 38 and this year I've noticed that I need a lot more rest than before. I love hiking and being outdoors, and it used to be that I could take off on friday afternoon, drive for 12 hours then backpack for the whole saturday and sunday, then drive back to be at work on monday morning. Now it's like one day in the mountains and I need three days to get back to normal ;_;

    I wish I was 24 again bros

    It's in your head m8.

If you believe age is screwing you over it will. I thought my metabolism had come to a crashing halt last year but what had actually happened is my gut microbiome health had been severely compromised from years of alcohol abuse initially prompted by covid hoax lockdowns.

I adopted a diet in which I obtained from alcohol, sugar, gluten, starch, 5 0 Y as well as several rounds of multi-day fasts and everything started working again.

I'm the most muscular I've ever been in my life.

Try the "Anti-Candida diet". Prior to trying it I thought the reason I couldn't lose weight anymore was due to age related metabolic decline but now it's just as easy to lose weight as it was in my early twenties. What's great about your gut microbiome is that it's self-healing you just need to give it the right fuel and stop putting junk in it.

27, only difference ive noticed vs being 20 is that if I skip a muscle group for a month or so then train, the DOMS are more agonizing and take 1-2 more days to recover from
