As a neet I wake up at 5am after at least 8hours of sleep. My problem However is it takes me like 4 hours to fully wake up. Which ruins my plans of doing morning cardio
I am doing course for driver licence and today i had to wake up at 5:20AM, usually i wake up at late 9 or 10AM to show up at my job meeting at 10 40 AM ( i work remote) . I did everything to fall asleep early - cold shower, opened window to my bedroom for half of hour, 0,5mg melatonin and i jerked off for good measure - nothing helped, i was tossing and turning in cold sweat until i got some dreams at 4 or 5AM. Honestly i dont know if i had one or 2 hours of actual sleep that night, at 6AM i was on the road learning how to drive. I came back home at 8AM i refused to sleep instead i did power yoga workout for almost an hour, now its 10AM i will do some stoic journaling for hour maybe and then rest of day for whatever i want, reading study we will see. Thats only advantage of waking up early - i have lot of time left today for doing whatever, but its fine only because i have vacation today
how do I avoid getting fucked in the ass for working on rotational shifts, waking up 4 days at 4:30 am then 4 days from 2pm to 10pm then 4 days from 10pm to 6am 1 day rest inbetween shifts
Never look at time it gives you. And don't calculate it on your mind. You have to gaslight yourself I to thinking you got eight hours of sleep. Placebo is a hell of a drug.

2 hours is a good nap. You shouldn't be napping for more than 2 hours anyway
