                My friend is 6'1, skinny fat, balding, and dresses like a slob and he gets pussy all the time. He also has a beta personality and isn't rich. That's how low the bar is set for tall guys. If you're even a little bit charismatic and fit you'll pull easily if you're over 6' tall.

          >sex will fill the void of meaning and fulfilment I feel in my life
          Already tried it, didn't work. Also tried a long term relationship, didn't work. You think sex is the be all end all because you've never had it. It's really nothing special.
          I understand that getting female validation is really the point, not the actual sex, but even then it doesn't fix anything. When you feel purposeless and directionless, to have those elements reinforced by female validation really doesn't add anything of substance to the mix.

      So can natties with big arms and low bodyfat. They can do it faster and they look better than you.

    Lel, homey. Fitness and looks are just part of a bigger whole. What are you doing with your life? Do you have friends? Do you have a GF? Are you getting sun exposure and spending time in nature? Are you setting goals and achieving them? Do you have the money you need for your goals? If you're fit, you've got one thing down, the work doesn't stop there. An hero yourself, and you just admit that you live life lightweight, you ain't got what it takes to Ronnie Coleman your destiny.

      I hate it when people talk about setting and achieving goals
      To have goals in the first place means you're not depressed
      It's like people believe depression is the result of a bad lifestyle (not setting goals, being lazy, being alone, not taking care of oneself) when the depression is the cause of all these things
      Normal people can't comprehend going through life having no passion so they think that people who are unhappy are just losers that don't try hard enough when it's that these "losers" don't have anything to go after or don't feel like anything is worth going after.

        >It's like people believe depression is the result of a bad lifestyle
        Because for men it is 80% of the time. If you've had traumatic events occur in your life then a therapist works. For everything else, depression for men is the consequence of living a bad life.
        Do you not have wants because you're depressed, or did your single parent household upbringing suppress you during your formative years leading you towards a lifestyle where you retracted inward and grew detached from your own desires? How often do you leave the house? How often do you feel like you're in survival mode if at all? All this talk about losers is your mothers voice typing. I have been depressed, but I know mental processes enough to realise that lifestyle is king. If you don't sleel well enough, you'll fly off the handle fast, if you don't get enough movement your body thinks it's time to die. And if you aren't hungry passionate for even the dumbest of goals you will have no will to get up in the morning.
        You're not the only one who has suffered like that and you can overcome it just like everyone else.

        Its moronic to boil down depression to nothing more than a lack of exercise and 'poor lifestyle habits'. Its great if working on those things fixed the issue for you, but it doesn't work like that for everyone. Its much more complex than how this sort of thinking makes it out to be.

          That's why I never did. However I will stand by people with clinical depression being a small part of the people that would fit the "depressive person" tag. Neither can everything be solved with just working out, but it can improve a large group of the sekf diagnosed cases. Male depression is a complex subject and I will maintain that the vasy majority of cases are caused by the life you live, which is not just one or the other.

    Fat people seethe at your only existence because you are fit. This should make you happy by itself because being fit makes you already more desirable, handsome, and correct in general than them. They are not happy, they are just ignorant of their own disgrace. Stop being a homosexual.

    I'm new to IST. I don't know how it is with you guys, but I am more likely to workout when I'm feeling extremely depressed. The one dude I talked to was ripped as hell. He said he lifted because its the only thing that helps him cope with depression, but that the depression stays the same. He said he feels like shit all the time and lifting is his only real hobby. I may be wrong, but I think its fair to assume that if a person is happy and fulfilled, they probably aren't going to be voluntarily putting their body through the pain and effort it takes to build it up.
    Happy = no gym
    Unhappy = lots of gym

    well if it helps you cope I doubt any of those other people are happy either, they just hide it better. If you get close to any normie they'll open up about how miserable they are too. Suffering is just an inherent part of being, you're not special

    There's always a reason to be unhappy. You're either have some kind of mental sickness like depression, or just focusing on stuff that doesn't matter that much.
    I'm fit but that's almost a detail when it comes to my daily life.

    Some guys think they can't be happy without being rich and buying sports car, some don't go out anymore because of norwood 1, others think a gf will save them etc.

    Just the other day at the airport I saw a downie with his wife waiting for a flight. A fricking downie manlet who weighted at least 100kgs, no older than 30, ring on his finger, holding hands with his wife, a somewhat cute, 5/10 skinny girl, laughing out loud.
    I don't get it. There are people who are shorter than me, uglier than me, poorer than me, fatter than men, more autistic than me, and they go on to have relationships and social circles and experiences. Just what the frick is wrong with me?

    Carb restriction and CICO cause mental illness.
    Just keep the fat around 30-40g a day, eat unlimited sugar and low fat milk and be happy and lean.
