Train abs specifically. The smaller and weaker your abs the lower bf you'll have to be for them to be noticeable.

Look at any athlete that plays a sport where core is key, which is basically every sport.
You'll notice that they'll almost always have well defined abs even if everything else isn't defined. look at Eddie Hall for example.

Think of it like this bro. Anyone can have defined biceps at low body fat even though it'll look small and weak. Abs are no different.
As a teenager I got my bf measured by a physician
I was at 11% yet I had absolutely zero abs to be seen, my stomach looked more like a plank
What I mean is if you don't hypertrophy your muscles a bit they won't show even if you're 10%bf
Hypertrophied as frick abs can start to show at like 16%bf
Every single bronze era/Silver era lifter trained abs everyday. You might not need to train them if you lift 2/3/4/5 for 6-8 reps and take steroids and can get to 6% bodyfat while maintaining all muscle but if you are natty, you 100% need to train abs. Its not up for a debate.

Yea I usually put a 45lb plate on my feet. If that doesn’t feel comfortable you can do crunches, you might just have to do more and make sure the ROM is there since they are easier. I’ve also used dumbbells but only when the gym has those weird dumbbells in the stretch room
Ab twist seated. Basically Russian twist just with weight to get a better workout

Best of luck man! It takes a while, just like everything. Also it’s just as important to maintain a healthy diet of your bf is higher before you see abs. Progress pics every week/other week help. It’ll come, just imagine how far you could go in a year! Try to hit abs 2 times a week and then go to 3, but piece by piece. A mointain does not rise in a single day

Sit-ups, crunches, ab twist with medicine ball or other weight, planks, leg holds/lifts, bicycles. I like picking 2 or 3 (sit-ups, twist, then plank) and doing 40 reps/seconds and hitting them all twice, then move up by 5 every other time you do it, start at whatever you can and move up Accordingly
