answer this question seriously

if you are fat and a male, let's say you ONLY eat 1 meal of junk food a day, that is less than 1500 calories or less than 1650, humans above 13 years old need 2500 calories a day if they eat less than that, they lose weight. Does this work?
that's without exercise, maybe walk a little

Yes. There is this one streamer who is really popular and black and he said he would basically just order 4 mc chickens every day and this is how he lost like 100 pounds or something.

The only issue is that junk food isn't healthy or satiating, so you may feel like shit the whole time

Like this is just math. Your body uses basically the same amount of energy to do the same shit so if you don't eat enough the energy has to come from somewhere which is you

I am fat and male, this doesn't work because it won't satiate you. I had a lot of success drinking more water and eating a bag of salad mix with balsamic or yogurt dressing with every meal. I now do extended fasting.

There was a weight loss trainer who did a McDonald's diet and lost 50lbs. He only ate McDonald's 3 times day

Yes as long as you eat below maintenance you will lose weight, although you will probably get some side effects if you only eat trash food due to lack of nutrition, thought you would get the same thing even if you weren't on a deficit, but will lose weight

Nutrition isn't just a matter of macronutrients. Hormones play the biggest role in body composition and while your energy balance will play a large role in losing weight, the fact that you are starving yourself of micronutrients will have a big effect on how those calories are partitioned. In other words the number on the scale will decrease but don't be surprised if you end up skinny fat.

Food quality matters, if you want to lose weight and keep your skin tight, your immune system functioning better, maintain muscle and bone mass all while maximising fat loss then you need a natural complete diet high in animal foods and not goyslop or peasant foods.

    >ONLY eat 1 meal of junk food a day,
Why not eat healthy foods in moderation? 10 years ago I fell for the IIFYM meme and I was miserable the entire time. I lost weight, but constantly craved more junk.

I would advise you to go to /fat/ and use the body fat calculator then plug those numbers into the calculator on sailrabbit. Use the Katch formula in the section that ask which one to use and make sure to select sedentary for the activity amount. Then scroll down and type in 1 or 1.5 pounds a week in the loss section. This will calculate your TDEE and then give you an estimated amount of calories you should eat every day to lose weight. I highly recommend eating enough protein to equal 0.8g per kg of lean body mass (convert lbs to kg don't try to eat 0.8g for the measurement in lbs) lean body mass will be guestimated when you use the body fat calculator I mentioned earlier. What you eat at the end of the day has no bearing on the mechanism of weight loss. To the mechanism a calorie is a calorie. You could eat junk and lose weight but you will be losing muscle mass as well. If you eat the right amount of protein every day and fill in the rest of the calories with your choice of dishes and do the slightest bit of exercise you will see great results. Remember to re calculate your calorie limit every 2 weeks or so. As you get smaller your body requires less calories so you will need to cut down more. I wish you luck and hope to see you on /fat/. The hardest part is starting and its always a great day to start.

Anything works to lose weight as long as you eat at a caloric deficit. If you burn 1800 a day by just existing then as long as you eat 1300 or slightly less a day you will lose weight, it's really that simple. Nutritional stuff is another thing to consider, but I would personally focus on finding dishes that work for you. Bring in the nutrition side of things after you have built good habits regarding food.

    >if u are fat
homie u're eating above maintenance to begin with, do some math find out ur ideal weight then start eating at deficit when u hit a milestone that means u need to reduce ur calories further so on, u don't just cut down to bellow maintenance and expect to reach ur goal fat frick it's impossible to do it one shot without health risks
