When you are young you obviously want to hit the gym and show off, having a shit sleep schedule because you work out after uni/work but as time goes by it becomes impossibile to maintain it, and besides your heart can support a finite amount of load before it gives up. This is partially why calisthenics is much more preferred especially by older dudes.
