I wish we had. I should have pushed him more, but I was too young to know better.
We built my first power rack together. Probably our best moments together. Sometimes you remember it like it was yesterday. It was a good time in my life, but I could never see anything good when it's happening
yeah and it’s great, wish we could do it more. he outlifts me in pressing and pushdown movements even after 3 years in the gym. that man has insane willpower and strength when it comes to beating my lifts lol. even with only going twice a week. kinda fear the day that i’ll officially be stronger, probably somewhere this year.
Me and my dad go to the gym together 4 days a week. The only sad part is seeing how he’s getting weaker with age when growing up you always think your dad is the toughest guy ever.

My dad died back when I was a kid.
No not with him but I got him to do strength training at an old age
No, but he helps me relax after a workout.
my dad was a d1 linebacker, 6’4 260lbs in his prime. now he’s a lazy fatfrick who’s pushing 60 and deteriorating rapidly. it’s fricking sad

sorry about your loss, btw
My coworker turned 58 a month ago. He's lean and looks like he's in his fourties.
The only thing that is offputting is the slightly sagging pecs.

You sound naive and asian.
>said his dad is 6’4

No. He abandoned me when I was four and finally died, alone, in 2022.
Mine don't, thankfully my best friend's dad is a seasoned gymrat who lift with us from times to times and give the best advice
