No need to be obtuse... a lot of standard shirts have insanely large sleeves no amount of growing your arms would fix (beyond becoming a Russian saline injector)

Meh at least it's a 2 min video rather than some stretched out shit

I tried this and it does actually work... gotta turn the shirt inside out when stitching though (this guy seems to omit this)

For me it's the waist that is always ridiculously large. If I can barely fit my shoulders in a shirt, most of the time my waist can fit 3-4 times easily. I guess that means I have a good shoulder to waist ratio but I can never find shirts my size 🙁

I just buy more expensive cotton shirts that have some elastic material added so my sleeves fit pretty well and make my arm look 1.5x bigger.

Besides, these shirts are pretty comfy too

Sleevemaxing is a very fine line, go just a tad too small and suddenly you're an overcompensating embarrassing douchebag, go just a tad too big and suddenly you're a DYEL.

Once you find the true right perfect fit t shirt, buy at least 5 of them in different colors. Fit is everything.

I understand the impulse to want extra extra short sleeves like on a muscle T so that you can show off biceps/triceps, but honestly the biggest physique flex is when you can wear conventionally-cut T shirts with longer sleeves that are closer to the elbow and still fill them up and have your arms stretching them tight. Muscle Ts look silly and make it look like you are desperately trying to show your arms, but filling up a typical-cut T shirt makes it look like you are just wearing normal clothing but have no choice but to explode out of it. One of the sequences of Pumping Iron had arnold wearing a polo with sleeves that went almost down to the elbow and all I remember from when I watched it as a teen was how his biceps and triceps still managed to stretch the sleeves to the max. Somehow it looks way more impressive than ultra short sleeves or rolled up sleeves

As long as we are throwing out clothing protips

I used to wear very fitted clothing but it draws too much attention, particularly after a cut when in the right light you can see abs through clothing.
It's fine at the gym but in an everyday setting it feels very attention-seeking.

Recommending the opposite of the OP
Go oversized. I made one change and now I get all the same positive attention without inspiring sneers or the self-consciousness that comes with being saran-wrapped.

      >It's fine at the gym but in an everyday setting it feels very attention-seeking.
That's because it is, both men and women should dress modestly.

        Anonymous

Yeah, it took a long time to really get that. I think after getting into shape for the first time I just wanted to make up for a lifetime of being unremarkable, and it took maybe 2 years before my brain caught up to physique and let me calm down, go modest.

I think I'm probably not alone in going through that phase and I wouldn't grudge it to anyone.

There's nothing wrong with his legs, though. They are far more in proportion than the average gymbro who picks a lane and goes hard in one or the other.

Tight jeans are painful unless you somehow get the absolute perfect fit

You need chinos that have some % of elastane in - comfort and aesthetic
