Anyone else sleevemaxxing?
I learnt how to tailor my own shirts (easier than it looks) so it isn't baggy, and it's an easy +3 aesthetics buff

Try growing your arms
No need to be obtuse... a lot of standard shirts have insanely large sleeves no amount of growing your arms would fix (beyond becoming a Russian saline injector)
All my shirts fit on the arms.
1859 chinaman ass shirt LMAO
Large shirt, my neck is 17", now post your physique and Iq.
>you won't jfl
I was talking about the pattern of shirt not than the size
What's wrong with plain grey?
thats a victorian prison shirt anon.
A fine doublet to be sure, goodman
I'm dying for some slim fits
How did you tailor your sleeves???
GAP t-shirts used to have slim sleeves though, not sure about these days...
Thanks but seems tough I don't have needles
W-were you expecting to tailor your clothes with a stapler or something?
Idk man
holy frick, why does this guy need to do the dumb ass zoomer youtuber way of talking and throwing shit jokes in every second into a video like this. For frick sakes I just want to know how to do it not listen to this fricking moron
Will Tennyson is exactly like this.
He can't complete a single sentence without making a lame joke that alludes to him being attracted to something gross like fatties, dicks or blacks.
That's actually pretty easy. I got some shirts I can change that I got.
Meh at least it's a 2 min video rather than some stretched out shit
I tried this and it does actually work... gotta turn the shirt inside out when stitching though (this guy seems to omit this)
Shit pinching into your armpits is too small for you.
Don't need to, big hog outline in anything I wear
I buy merino wool tees from sonofatailor
I've been meaning to switch my shirt wardrobe to all merino for years now. How is the sleeve fit with sono?
It's custom so you can do it however you want. Should be easy to measure on your own
not a problem because i have big arms and buy clothes that fit me
For me it's the waist that is always ridiculously large. If I can barely fit my shoulders in a shirt, most of the time my waist can fit 3-4 times easily. I guess that means I have a good shoulder to waist ratio but I can never find shirts my size 🙁
Nahh man oversized t shirt with big forearms and busty chest is the way to go…slim sleeves LOL get TF out with your 2008 millennial “slim fit” looking ass
Into the AM and fresh clean threads are 2 affordable companies that make fitted tshirts that show off your arms and chest.
Into the AM quality is a little better
Wearing tight shirts around the arms is teenage/manlet shit. Train your shoulders, chest and back more and you'll look big in any shirt
nah I don't give a shit
OP's t shirt
Not gonna lie... I like the effort OP. Next generation clothing fit. Nice display, especially for those of us who go for a leaner look.
Also check out Target Goodfellows tshirt for a decent sleeve.
I just buy more expensive cotton shirts that have some elastic material added so my sleeves fit pretty well and make my arm look 1.5x bigger.
Besides, these shirts are pretty comfy too
shirt sauce?
Sleevemaxing is a very fine line, go just a tad too small and suddenly you're an overcompensating embarrassing douchebag, go just a tad too big and suddenly you're a DYEL.
Once you find the true right perfect fit t shirt, buy at least 5 of them in different colors. Fit is everything.
>tfw L is too short but XL is too baggy
>found some random brand on Amazon that actually fit well, but they don't sell them anymore
suffering
I understand the impulse to want extra extra short sleeves like on a muscle T so that you can show off biceps/triceps, but honestly the biggest physique flex is when you can wear conventionally-cut T shirts with longer sleeves that are closer to the elbow and still fill them up and have your arms stretching them tight. Muscle Ts look silly and make it look like you are desperately trying to show your arms, but filling up a typical-cut T shirt makes it look like you are just wearing normal clothing but have no choice but to explode out of it. One of the sequences of Pumping Iron had arnold wearing a polo with sleeves that went almost down to the elbow and all I remember from when I watched it as a teen was how his biceps and triceps still managed to stretch the sleeves to the max. Somehow it looks way more impressive than ultra short sleeves or rolled up sleeves
As long as we are throwing out clothing protips
I used to wear very fitted clothing but it draws too much attention, particularly after a cut when in the right light you can see abs through clothing.
It's fine at the gym but in an everyday setting it feels very attention-seeking.
Recommending the opposite of the OP
Go oversized. I made one change and now I get all the same positive attention without inspiring sneers or the self-consciousness that comes with being saran-wrapped.
>It's fine at the gym but in an everyday setting it feels very attention-seeking.
That's because it is, both men and women should dress modestly.
Yeah, it took a long time to really get that. I think after getting into shape for the first time I just wanted to make up for a lifetime of being unremarkable, and it took maybe 2 years before my brain caught up to physique and let me calm down, go modest.
I think I'm probably not alone in going through that phase and I wouldn't grudge it to anyone.
Going oversized when you have big forearms is so based
>Using complete anonymity to make strangers feel good about themselves
unfathomably based tbh
Post body, wide shoulders look great even when your waist size isn't on show. People can tell you're not fat from your neck and jawline
Left: probably gay
Right: probably knows esoteric martial arts
"sleevemaxxing"
this is unironically the funniest board on 4c
.
i only wear long sleeve shirts and roll up the sleeves in order to hide all my bruises on my upper arm
I don't like tight fitting or high fitting sleeves at all. The main reason I even clicked on pic related's video in my recommended feed is because I thought his choice of 90's baggy clothes and chuck taylor's was interesting.
I have the opposite problem. My arms are XL and my chest/ torso are L.
same, in looser clothing i look fat as shit because of my wide shoulders. i need shirts more tapered at the waist but not looking like im a tryhard b***h
How do I go from left to right
How do I grow my arms
Imagine being so insecure that you sit and tailor your shirts to look more jacked..
You people need to get more out
>arm day every day
Dude looks good, but those legs
There's nothing wrong with his legs, though. They are far more in proportion than the average gymbro who picks a lane and goes hard in one or the other.
Your upper arm should be the same circumference as your calves, and it looks that way to me
wow he looks so much better now. I bet he really regrets not doing SS.
This is peak male fashion and anyone who denies it is just seething
Peak male fashion is just a jacket over a white button down with no tie. Literally everyone who wears this is a billionaire. No exceptions.
Are skinny jeans out of style now? Do I need to go buy new looser fit ones?
t. late 30s
It depends on who or where you ask.
Baggy early 2000s stuff is in right now because zoomers are out of shape sacks of shit with extreme built-in nerd neck.
You probably don't stand to gain anything by emulating them
Tight jeans are painful unless you somehow get the absolute perfect fit
You need chinos that have some % of elastane in - comfort and aesthetic
See: this buff dude I guarantee wearing trousers with elastane in so they aren't uncomfortable
Okay shirts are one thing but the thing that is coming back areSchworts. I'm sure we all have a pair, pretty much elastic or string-band shorts.
>mfw wearing an anime graphic tee (Goku) and noticing all the girls 'mirin not realising I'm an anime loser and prefer 2D
You boys wear grey sweatpants?
.
you look moronic btw. i tried it and i just looked like a dyel trying to show off my average biceps. the real show of fitness is broad shoulder and chest.
lats > chest > upper back > delts > arms
