My wife gained 25lbs during pregnancy. 15 of that was the baby + placenta. The rest she worked off in the months that followed because she breastfed but didn’t eat more than usual. That is how a healthy woman does it.

I did, the first time I bulked. I studied personal training first and came up with a program for us, and I helped her with her lifts. She gained 10 lbs of muscle and I gained 20 over the span of about 4 months. Both of us were very happy with our progress and it was fun working out with her.
