Anyone have a cure for knee pain? Fricking hell ive had this dull ache in my knee for a few weeks now. Went away for a while and came back recently. All i do is front squat, lowbar squat, RDL/db rdl, and leg curls basically for legs. I think its tendonitis, the docs said my knee is structurally healthy. I tried doing leg extensions with slow eccentrics to help and didnt work. I stretch my quads daily. No dice. Any ideas?
have you tried not having knee pain?
idk but when I dislocated my knee it only felt normal again after I started bicycling every week.
Are you taking anything for it? You could try taking a NSAID and see if it helps. The other thing to try is applying heat to the knee and massaging it.
I think nsaids work, but just temporary of course. Im trying to get at the root here since its been a while.
do the knees over toes guy's exercises
Ive seen like 10 different routines from him, idk which one to do? Any links?
Just go to his channel and watch a bunch with "knee" in the title. There's literally one called "How to start improving bad knees right now". If your knees are that bad you'll take the two minutes it takes to search for it.
This. Buy his program on the site for a month. Also walk backwards, preferably with a sled strapped to you. Took all my problems away.
have you tried biking? Imagine squattin like an ape, it ain't gonna help you out in a zombie apocalypse, but you know what will?
Knee sleeves helped me a lot with knee discomfort from lifting. Rehband blues are where it's at.
walking backwards on treadmill actually helped me strengthen my knees a bit, though im dealing with pain for a different reason (leg strength imbalance).
did anything predicate the pain, anon?
I would recommend doing some quad focused squats. Knees heavily going forward your toes. This literaly cured my knee pain in one session.
Stand on a plate or use squat shoes to increase your tibia, and go as far forward as possible with your knees as possible and as deep as possible.
Your knee might just be stiff as frick,
i personally haven't tried the knees over toes guy but knee pain is kinda his whole schtick and he seems pretty reputable, i'd give his stuff a try
mine goes away doing split squats or stretching my hip flexor you should try that first if you sit more than 4h/d
Real question, do people who don't sit 4+ hours a day even exists in the modern world?
t. office gay
im a civil eng gay and there are plenty of days i sit 3 hours max and that's with the commute and transfer between the two sites i oversee
not today though today ive got frick all to do and sit around all day doing some slight stretches every half an hour
Your IT bands are right and pulling your knee caps. Happens with lots of squatting. Get a foam roller and roll your thighs. Add some hamstring workouts and back workouts to your routine.
Be more specific regarding the site and type of pain. What makes you think it's tendonitis? What exercises / movements worsen the pain and which help to alleviate it?
Is picrel your normal standing posture? Looks like your quads and external hip rotators are tight. Do you do train glute medius and hip adductors?
Yes, stop eating anything but animal based foods. Try it
