Anyone here ever have a high tibial osteotomy(HTO)?

Anyone here ever have a high tibial osteotomy(HTO)? It is essentially surgery for people with bow legs (genu varum) as it causes stress on the knee. I'm seriously considering if but wanted to know of potential permanent sides before I bite the bullet.

all the chinese weight lifters have legs like these?
also a lot of the football(soccer) players.
I wouldnt even consider going under a blade unless its really limiting your ability to live normally.
    >causes stress on the knee
whats your squat? do you even know if you have any potential problems coming?

also it fricking sucks when your inner thighs are rubbing eachother. it can be really pain in the ass. then you have to walk like you have shit in the pants in public because you dont want your thighs touching eachother.

    >but wanted to know of potential permanent sides before I bite the bullet
death is one, becoming cripple is another - surgeons are sociopaths usually, nobody will care if they frick up - u asked for it

in all seriousness: i keep my mind occupied wating for morning shit and nuking your ridiculous threads 2 or 3 at a time in the process, and when i come back in the evening or next day thread is deleted or closed

bot, this one is sth like "look at ur knees, they are funky, u are built wrong, inadequate", meanwhile Klokov laughs at your
    > can i lift like that
    and your even dumber
    >thas not pretty
what sodomite and whaman doesn't want to get it on with prime Klokov? none, he's literal god-tier in their eyed

to make such judgment u'd have to read and consider my argument, u can't say
            >wrong
            >schizo
and walk away, it don't work like that bot

you have to read mine where I never even said anything about right or wrong. You went on irrelevant tangents about bots and Klovov.

                > potential permanent sides before I bite the bullet
                death, incapacitation

do u have anything to add bot before u delete the thread?

I would not trust doctors and do any kind of surgery for any sort of muscular issue. Their ‘solution’ is some hack chopping you up and putting you back together again when your body can heal itself naturally much easier.

Go see a physio and do stretching, exercises, work on your posture, literally anything else but let a doctor fix this kind of issue

this "issue" u just made up bot is not an issue - it's just u farting away in the wind, farting at yourself because there's nobody here but me

you got me good. I'm an advanced military grade artificial intelligence able to hack into anyone's computer solely through talking to them online. I stole your credit card information and your address through this thread. Sad but a bot's gotta feed himself.

Not him but I'm heavily bow legged and I have constant shin splints.
Because the weight is mostly on the inner shins I have constant inflammation there and I'm in low pain 24/7.
Because of that I can't run. I can do pretty much everything else though.

I couldn't find any real solution to the issue. I'm not doing heavy surgery, I don't trust those people. They couldn't even fix my nose, not going to give them my legs.

I thought you could fix these with exercise and stretching.
I have a similar problem (my knees go inward) and I was told on IST that by exercising and strngthening leg muscles I can fix it. Have I been lied to?

its over, OP. all you can do now is to
buy some cheap rural land in one of the flyover states
    buy some horse and cattle
larp as a cowboy till the rest of your life

I'm the opposite and have knock knees
let's trade one leg with each other so that it averages out to be normal

I know someone who had a femoral osteotomy. They couldn't walk right for about two years after a 8 month recovery.
mentioned the increase in height that sometimes happens, the individual i mentioned above went from 5'5" to 5'9". They have to avoid impact heavy activities because their femur is thinner and stretched.
