Too much maintenance IMO. With the cuts posted, you can go like 6 weeks without needing a shape-up. Though I'm long overdue for a trim
this is why you learn to cut your own hair. I keep a pair of scissors by the sink in my bathroom and trim from time to time. Not doing full haircuts of course but learning how to maintain hair is really useful.
It's less about scissors and more about layering. When you have really thick hair, it needs to be layered or it bunches up towards the bottom like mine is doing. You can do that with scissors, but the angle you need to get on it is difficult.

Yep. Pretty much every kind of paraben, sulfate, silicone and other common commercial shit messes with your hair and scalp health. If you want a lazy way to check things, look up the recommended products for the CG (curly girl/guy) method. The method was developed mainly for nappy black hair, but applies to any kind of wavy or curly hair just as well.
i've actually been doing the curly person method for a while now, although i don't know if my hair actually counts as curly. probably curlier than yours but just a bit shorter.

I have a mullet currently. It's a decent hairstyle, has some flair. You can pull it off if you're IST.
But the truth is, you can pull off any standard haircut. If you're in good shape, dress well, have good social skills, take care of your skin, etc. then there rest is details.
Wear some chains (I like CRAFT and Serge Denimes, but even cheap Amazon shit works), rings, etc. and THEN get this haircut. If you have the fundamentals, a little bit of edge will put you in frickboy territory.
