no I wanna get some >work out in friends spare room home gym >cage has fat bars >love em for pull-ups >has friend living in spare room recently >kinda awks >back to paying for a gym >pull up bars are thin again
thinking of getting some
They work great, mine lasted ages already. One thing though, if you have large hands or very long fingers, the regular sized (blue) ones may not be big enough. They still work well, but I can fully wrap my hand around them, so I also bought the extreme that are bigger.
they work but they are too expensive for what you do. you could have the same benefits from doing towel exercises (hammer curls, pullups, deadhangs etc)
towel through a plate, then hammer curl
alternatively tie the towel around a dumbell or kettlebell
i like fat grips for barbell curls
without them i get tendonitis and i didn't want to spend money on an ez curl bar for my office gym
I think so, unless you're limited on time. It is already normal for the grip to limit the quality of back workouts. Just train your grip seperately, don't let your rhomboids suffer because your fat grips made your grip fatigue before your back muscles.
Deadlifts are like the 1 lift I don't use them on, OHP and bench are comfy with it and good for warmups. Then just throw them on to any accesory lift, especially pulldowns and curls
bought some a couple months back to improve my grip and they definitely work - as another anon said don’t use them on everything as it can lead to tendonitis. I use em for kettlebell farmers walks, dead hangs, scapular pull-ups, high rep pull-ups with a band - any shit like that. Unless you have very small hands get the blue ones, much harder than black but if you limit it to the kinds of exercises I mention you’ll be fine, I just wouldn’t expect to be using these for deadlifts unless you dropped the weight a shitload
Depends. How're your forearms looking, anon?
Not good, that why I'm wondering if these things will help at all.
You're better off buying a set of grippers
can you put it on your dick
only if you have noodle 30mm dick
Ai?
I wish, it's b***h I used to date
they're alright but don't use them for everything, gave me elbow tendonitis
The opposite is true.
This.
Currently on week 3 of elbow tendonitis, still hasn't healed up.
I've since shelved the fat grips. Was using them on every lift prior.
The idea of "muscle irradiation" they talk about is bullshit, but they are good st improving grip etc if used correctly
Clench your fist hard, you'll feel activation along your entire arm

Buy your own damn pull up bar
I started bringing my 2.5s in and everyone thought I was the most autistic creature to walk this earth, careful son

just use them occasionally on complementary exercises

thanks anon
You have to really grip the towel. Your grip is dictated by your forearm muscles.
Don't talk about your mom getting grabbed anon
