Are people fit where you live?

>Rural Georgia
No. Nearly everyone here above the age of 20 is overweight or morbidly obese. If you did sports in high school that's where you'll peak because the typical diet here will finally take it's toll on you after you stop being active.

Everything is processed. You have to go out of your way to eat well, which basically means eating at home and packing a lunch if you are health conscious.

        Anonymous

This is only partially correct. Both healthy ingredients and processed slop are available at the grocery store. Nutritionally sound food from healthy ingredients are undeniably cheaper than the slop. And yet people don't want to put in the maybe 20 minutes a night average to cook.

The food is overly processed and there are two, maybe three cities in the entire country where not having a car doesn't make you a nonperson. People have to make a conscious choice every day to be active, you can go weeks without getting 5,000 steps a day

What are people eating that makes them so fat?

I live in scotland and while I wouldn’t say we’re particularly bad, 90% of the time I’m clearly the least fat person in any room. It’s a diet of alcohol, takeaways and sweeties that makes people fat here along with sheer laziness, being unwilling to even take a walk to the shops

In my general area's case. It's a daily diet of Chick-fil-A, McSlop, & whatever calorie dense southern cuisine your mom or ma can come up with.

When I was in high school you were weird if you weren’t in a sport. I think that’s reversed now.

Our two biggest sports though are ones where you don’t have to be lean. (American) football requires mass and baseball only has like 10 yds of running at a time and the rest is power/technique/coordination so they can get away with not being lean. It’s not like soccer where they need cross country levels of cardio to play all day

Georgia is a gorgeous state, shame everyone is so goddamn fat there. Nice to visit though.
I'm in New Hampshire, and most of our people are older and overweight (imagine a typical Harley rider but with a t-shirt tucked into shorts and hiking boots over long socks, and you're in the ballpark). The food isn't even that good, it's just boomers living on diner food.

I second this. Massachusetts women are secretly the hottest out of any of them. High focus of french/german/canadian genes means lots of fit blue eyed big boobied women. Plenty of them like staying home too instead of being eager to leave and move to new york or some shithole like that. The smaller towns near the Atlantic are also pretty conservative and very low crime rate. Perfect place to get away from the Black folk/pajeets/lgbtq

I was looking at moving to Nashville. Not really a fan of hipsters but I think I’d be happiest in an area like that where there’s some semblance of a dating scene, and a higher chance at meeting latinas, and fricking women of various other non white ethnicities, but still having a big chance to find a white woman to marry/ have kids with.
If all goes well I’ll be able to move up there very soon. I’m nervous though, never left the nest and I’m almost 30. I figure though, worst case scenario I hate it there and move elsewhere after a few years. Best case I love it and I’ve met a good hot woman to settle down with.

Just do your research before you move. Rents have gone way up because the city is expanding so rapidly.

I plan to do several scouting trips. I’ve only been a handful of times on my life but never really paid much kind to what the cities were like. Like I plan to at some point stay for 4-7 days in na air bnb and just act like I live there. Go shopping for groceries daily, walk around various stores, walk around town, check neighborhoods out, talk to people, etc.
            >rents gone up
This is my concern, because right now rent in Nashville btfo rent in broward/ft lauderdale. But I realize it’s only going to increase. And it would suck a whole lot to move there and within 10 years have many options for a basic 1-2 bed apartment in the $1000-$1700 range transform all the way to a 1 bed being $2500 like my current area. This is based off Zillow prices but I’m seeing places for actually affordable all over, whereas in my current area all that pops up are shitty ghetto studios in the $1400-$1900 range.

No man you don’t get it. That was true 20 years ago. Shit, 15 years ago my current neighborhood had 0 black people in it. Now there’s several black houses on ever bloke/road in this immediate neighborhood and every other year a new black family moves in. And it’s never just the chill black people, they often bring friends or extended family with them.
Even the blacks who still have to live in the hood frequent the whiter areas because they’re generally nicer. Like they’ll drive 15 minutes just to go to my local Publix instead of there’s. And that’s the thing, the black areas/hoods are only 10-15 minutes from everywhere.

Those hoods were once white and really nice areas. Talk to any old person who’s lived here their whole life they all have the same story about when they lived in those places. Used to be super nice and affluent, then islander FOBs and New York blacks all moved in gradually.

I’ll look into the places you recommended too though. From the sound of what you’re saying Nashville is in the early stages of what I wrote above. My current area is priced like it’s Beverly Hills while being highways on top of swamp with only a few months of okay whether out of the year and the entire place looking like a giant garbage dump while it’s overrun by its constant ever growing influx of nigs.

Either way, I need to leave THIS place. I’d never afford rent, and I’m not gonna pay $2000/month to live in one of the predominantly black areas right off the highway.

Idk what to tell you man. I’m not trying or meaning to argue with you but I see it differently. Yes there’s a clear distinction between nigtown and a normal area, I grew up in nigtown. But to say they just stick to their own area is laughable. Obviously it’s not 100% of them leaving to come nig up my part of town at once. But there’s still plenty. And the ones who are middle/upper middle class act and believe they’re from the hood so there’s no real difference.
                >what universe you are living in that you think
I explained this and made a clear point to tell you and state that I realize “I may be wrong” but that I’ll ultimately need to take scouting trips. But it is laughable to suggest the broward/ft lauderdale area isn’t black in the same way you’re suggesting Nashville to be. Let me put this this way
                >nig town
You’ll be the token whitey. 1 of maybe 5 black houses per neighborhood/apartment complex.

Tangentially related but I’ve noticed that many nignogs now shop at target in my town. Previously, shopping was very segregated, nigs and meth heads went to Walshart, humans went to Target. Now Target has multiple “loss prevention” people on duty at any time, and mast sheboons drag their obnoxious and rude jugglers through the store. This only started happening in the wake of the St. Floyd riots in 2020.

Black folk are all over Nashville.
The only good thing about Black folk in Nashville is that they kill other Black folk.
Making abortion illegal is really going to hurt the White population in Nashville because that means more Black person babies with absent fathers leading to consequences of the cycle continuously repeating.
Even the "White" acting house Black folk are too Black personish in Nashville.

    >Minnesota
not super bad here. at least in the cities during summer. people tend to get heavier during fall/winter to prep for the cold. everyone takes advantage of the summers so people are usually outside walking/running, doing lake activities, etc. which helps most burn the winter chub. I used to live in texas and there are far fewer obese “people” waddling around here.

Yeah, I think a lot tend to be heavier to combat the cold because women are always fricking cold for some reason and a lot don’t burn the winter weight during the summer. Though the women I interact with are all fairly fit.

You don’t. Minneasotians are extremely reserved. They do not tend to make friends after high school/college and do not push boundaries to make new friends. It’s a notorious complaint that people moving here make. That’s just how it is. Doesn’t UMN have like social groups or something?

Then hang with other grad students and do it before the winter hibernation where everyone is either depressed or crabby. I’m an autist so I fit in just fine here. The winters are amazing to just be a full blown degenerate and just hibernate till summer. I’ll occasionally go out with people or coworkers but for the most part I’ll stick to myself

Generally not that bad, at least compared to the goyslop Walmart hellscapes I've seen in my travels to TX and FL. Outdoor activities like hiking and skiing are quite popular so that does a lot to keep people in-shape. Obviously the older a person is, the more likely it is that they stop caring and get fat

I have noticed that zoomer women tend to be a lot fatter than zoomer males, who are much more into fitness culture and going to the gym. The dating scene is pretty grim outside of college towns. Apps like Tinder and Hinge are filled with fat single mothers

Lol frick no, op. The median age of the entire state is 43, and there is a paucity of commercial gyms for people to join. If you do manage to find one in a relatively populated area, expect to pay at least $40/month for a membership, and for the constituency to be almost entirely men.

Yes and no. Compared to most of the US and I believe most of the Anglosphere now, Long Islanders are probably on the fitter side. We still have our fair share of fatties though.

Long Island was a hotspot for that Jersey Shore look in its heyday and was roidbro central a decade ago, but that whole culture seems to be dying out. You see fewer truly jacked dudes than you used to, especially among the 18-24 year-olds, who mostly go for the same lanky "zoomer" look you see everywhere else in the US now.

Women in the bars actually seem a little thinner on average than they were like 5-10 years ago... I think. It could just be that my standards are lower.

Not for an US perspective but people tend to be fatter than 40/50y defenitively. I'm 26y and people from my age with bellies fat are quite common now.

The New Zealand Health Survey 2020/21 found that: around 1 in 3 adults (aged 15 years and over) were classified as obese* (34.3%), up from 31.2% in 2019/20. there was a significant increase from 2019/20 to 2020/21 for women (31.9% to 35.9%), but not for men.

That's not including the 34% of adults (aged 15 and over) are overweight
