I was looking up videos of of how to do reverse hypers, and in the pic related Barbell Lolgic video, he actually instructs her to "swing like a pendulum."
What do these people have against slow, controlled eccentrics?
I get if you're on steroids (and obese anyway) like the instructor probably is, you can do 3x5 of whatever, use plenty of momentum and exploit leverages to make it as easy as possible, and still gain muscle mass, but after years of pushing this shit, why haven't Ripp and his copycats realized that it gives shit results for trainees who aren't on steroids or "TRT" like them?

Image slipping quickly few heavy plates on this love making chair to prevent her from moving haha
Imagine forcing obese powershitters to do cardio at gunpoint.
Imagine a beautiful wife greeting you when you get home with a nice kiss and a warm smile and your children being so excited to see you
fricking brutal
God I'd lol at that. It's litrally just fatties lurching their wait.
Haha imagine you tied her waist and hands in place haha
>gain muscle mass
I get that reverse hypers aren't usually done for hypertrophy, but it's astounding that they can't do anything, even accessories, without cheating.
Because they want the spinal traction/decompression from a heavy weight swinging on the eccentric.
This. OP is a weak moron and likely still in high school.
It's the egolift brain. If they swing it they can load up 3pl8s and show off to their boomer pals.
That's why a lot of people on the internet brag about how much weight they can do on the leg press. They barely go to parallel and basically bounce on the eccentric. Meanwhile I can get a nice quad pump using 2pl8s on it with a slow eccentric and a deep stretch.
I always assumed that reverse hypers are decent for hypertrophy because it was marketed as safe/rehab. Then the study about the eccentric portion being best for hypertrophy came out and realized that reverse hypers are pretty shit for hypertrophy because there's no tension at the bottom of the movement.
>I always assumed that reverse hypers are decent for hypertrophy because it was marketed as safe/rehab
They are good for it.
>no tension at the bottom of the movement.
Don't go all the way to the bottom.
Our bodies are designed to "cheat" on lifts. Isolating muslce groups is a sure way to get injured and devolep imbalances.
>Our bodies are designed
Yikes

Kinda like how jerking the weight and using momentum with abnormally heavy weight in the fashion of powerlifting leads to either acute injuries or subacute injuries that accumulate to acute injuries.
>why are athletes that want maximal power output doing their accessories in a way that develops their power output?
>athletes
kek at these fat lazy slobs being athletes
Is it safe to do that without a belt & straps?
>without momentum?
powershitters never went the bodybuilding path so they never understand the great feeling of hypertrophy sore and thinks it undermines their body's full capability of demonstrating strength
many such cases
reverse hypers are an exception where using momentum makes the exercise safer and more effective.
>reverse hypers are an exception where using momentum makes the exercise saf... ACK!
Are bodyshitters incapable of doing anything with momentum?
bodybuilding: trying make lifting a given weight as taxing and difficult as possible
powershitting: exploiting leverage, momentum, equipment (straps, squat plugs) and reduced range of motion (including using a huge gut to bounce the bar off of when benching) to make lifting a weight as easy as possible
Pretty sure that "powershitter" mogs both your physique and your life
>roiding for this
Pigwife, deserved for powershitting
They're both overweight, bordering on obese.
If you do compounds in fast as possible/2 wait/4 count eccentric in a powerlifting routine like SL 5x5 can you achieve additional hypertrophy provided you're eating well and all that? I actually enjoy these lifts but for example the strong lifts site explicitly instructs against it.
