>+ bodyweight squats
I sort of feel like I've reached the end of what I can do with just that. I do elevated shrimp squats now after I got comfy with pistols and I don't really know what to do anymore besides adding weight.
Kek I got a screen protector with my new phone and im always hitting the wrong fricking button and I'm too dumb to get around my computers ip ban.
they're awesome if you have high resistance ones and you're willing to get creative
I grew my triceps like motherfricker just by doing tricep pulldown with a band
Yeah I'm thinking they'll be useful for my triceps
I've also tried flys with them but pretty sure one handed barbell flys are better.
I can do “pull ups” but I can’t bring my chest up to the bar. So after a set of jump assisted negatives, I one arm, followed by two arm pull downs with my resistance bands.
moron, here. Which lifts are you talking about?
Because the lifts I'm thinking of would be the opposite.
Bands basically making the eccentric easier and being the least difficult at the bottom.
Okay I'm also a moron here. Not really sure why bands would help the eccentric tbh, the concentric makes sense though.
I guess it's good for injury recovery but beyond that a lower weight on the way back down isn't that ideal.
For gaining muscle, yeah. For doing 90% of rehab work or just piling on some hyper specific accessories you couldn't otherwise do after your main volume, no
depends what you are doing with them
if you have access to a gym, then they're pretty useless.
if you work out at home with limited equipment (eg calisthenics guys), they're incredible value for being so cheap. heavier bands are great for banded good mornings to hit posterior chain if you don't have weights. light bands are great for curls and tricep extensions. even lighter bands are good for rehab/prehab stuff like rotator cuff and glute activation.

nope u grew only the long head, u have not touched lateral head of trike - it is still waiting to achieve it's noob gains
some stretches can't be done without them
also known as if you injure/imbalance yourself in certain ways, your only way out is with help of resistance bands
They work, but I've had two explode on me now. I mostly used them for arm stuff and streching if I can't make it to the gym for some reason.
It's really scary when they explode bros.. Keep them out of the sun and away from your cat.
No
Love me springs
Love me rubber bands
simple as
I love using them to do rows. My lats are growing nicely
Push up variations + bodyweight squats+ bands=no need for gym

no need to be a calisthenics purist. just add weight
If you really need to you can go to the gym twice a week or so for squats and deadlifts
I tried doing some lat pulldowns with them for the first but they were not sure the next day.
Maybe they need a little more time to decide

Actually they're supposedly even better than lifting weights because the resistance increases throughout the eccentric movement

Curls are a good one, you want the most 'weight' at the point where you contract the muscle most so it helps a lot.
That's the opposite of what he said and what I asked, though.

Their resistance profile is fricking trash. They're only useful in the progression of some calisthenics.

Depends on how you use them.
no they work.but i just tore one off today
