Are the Apple watch worth it for cardio? 500 is pretty steep but the fit bit seems like even more of a scam, it has like none of the features and still costs like 200-300.

how does having a little metal square on your wrist help you recover
Get a 6th gen refurbished for around 200 bucks, don't pay 500 for a fricking smartwatch
Music streaming is pretty nice. Also you don't have to carry your smartphone everywhere anymore
Apple Watch unironically cured my ADD.

notes and alarms?
Recurring alarms (with 3rd party app) that go off every 30 minutes + Reminders (I only set reminders with Siri), i.e. "Hey Siri in 2 hours remind me to do jelqing exercises"
>What the frick do you even need it for
Collecting data that you cannot access if you simply refuse all new technology for no reason.
How does that data matter for 99% of the population beyond what they'd be able to guess at or use a cardio machines hr sensors on occasion for?
Based
What the frick is "heart stuff" going to actually tell you to make your cardio better?
I was always able to run pretty fine without one
Apple products are good but of course overpriced, if your main goal is to track your fitness, get a Garmin or an Amazfit they are much better for that and you can find some good deals for them
listen to this anon; if all you care about is the actual tracking, garmin is far better. If you want all the "smart" functions (music, bluetooth, nfc pay, etc) get a smart watch like apple or galaxy.
I have that $150 tier garmin one and it's very good at tracking but the UX is kinda annoying
No, you don't need a smart watch for fricking cardio.
i didn't know this is what they meant when they said companies would watch your every move
>"Why yes I do need to track my heart rate!!!"
>Why?
