    Supposedly not. Most evidence we have is that quite a lot of caffeine is actually good for you.

    That said I 100% think that's down to the lifestyle of people who use it more than the caffeine itself. Caffeine drinkers will be people trying to do more, to exercise to work more etc. If you could do all that without caffeine I imagine it would be best of all.

      I don’t drink caffeine anymore but I can tell you that when I did drink caffeine I was hardly ‘doing things’, unless ‘things’ includes rotting in my room and living in a fog. I don’t think the majority of people who drink caffeine have a productive lifestyle.

    1 pot (800 mg-1gram) is the high-end of my baseline. For comparison's sake, a single monster ultra might as well be a can of fanta.
    I get some background 'anxiety' if I get close to 1.5 pots. By 2+ pots it feels like the earth will open up goatse style and swallow us all whole OR like I have to kickstart a race war, depending on my previous mood.

    So no, you can titrate up to ungodly amounts of caffeine. There's just no reason to.

      Also if I'm depressed caffeine basically stops working. 1 pot is just not enough to get out of sleepyhead territory but I still feel a vague sense of impending doom at 2+ pots thoughever. Life basically slows down to: eat, sleep, shit & lift but I somehow get by.

    Assuming you're not loading it up with a bunch of garbage calories, no you're basically fine other than the minor increase in heart strain, anxiety, lack of sleep, and increase in bowel movements caused by caffeine, all of which decrease as your tolerance to caffeine goes up.

    I can't sleep if I drink as much as 1 cup of coffee. I think after years of abusing caffeine I just can't drink a cup of coffee or eat anything with caffeine in it.

    Caffeine addicts need to be real with themselves: they're doing it to get high. It's the emotional """uplift""" that they're looking for, not the general energy. I realized that and decided to just get a little high in the morning instead, feels far better.
