When i was beginner i used to have txt documents for training and diet, phones wasnt great back then

i tried myfitnesspal for a long time ago but has since a long time just used my eyes to estimate macros
and keeping my training in my subconscious of what i need or should do

im not sure if myfitnesspal is still "the app" or not but it should suffice,
im curious whats to fancy with peoples routines these days that they need an app for it ?

No. Using smartphones is gay. If you do have one. You only need like 12 apps, weather, email, text, call, music, maybe a security camera app and web browser. Downloading apps and giving these people data to track you is moronic.

On top of that you don't need it. Count your calories in your head. Workout lifting one hour a day and run one hour a day. This is all you need. You will see results in 6 months

i guess, i usually had like 3 apps on all my phones so far
i just recently bought a new phone so i thought of at least trying something new

maybe theres a slightly innovative and efficient "routine" app to track my progress
to help me feel like im starting a journey again or something

        >only need 12 apps
        >lists seven

        >giving these people data to track you is moronic
        >literally suggests home security camera footage routes through 3rd party corporation

I have one of those terminals (a Televideo tvi910), though it's been in my garage for the past 10 years because it actually kind of sucks - tiny screen and not great ergonomics.
      Keyboard is nice enough though.

    Strong or Fitnotes.

Strong is good but the free version only lets you store 3 routines. The UI is very smooth.
Fit notes has better functionality but the UI looks more autistic.

I bought the full version of Strong like six years ago, it's amazing but I hear it got much more expensive these days.

Boostcamp if you want premade routines from people who actually know what they’re doing.

Notepad document if you make your own routines.

Idk what app for calorie tracking, a lot of guys I know use Cronometer. I just count calls and protein so I don’t use an app. Would use one if I was more advanced though.

The Hevy App has a good interface and the free tier gives you four different routines. It has a good Apple watch app that lets you leave your phone in the locker if you want.

For calories, Chronometer is the best free option. The database and barcode scanner are ok, but work fine.

I like this app caliber saw it as an ad for a fitness tracker with no ads and no storage of heath data.

Being an autist with a notebook is actually less cringe imo, at least that way you learn to interpret what's going on yourself. It's cringe too tho.
