It will kind of improve them, but keep in mind just rigid straight fingers is useless. You will become really good at poking people, but that is about it. It won't help with punching, it will leave your fingers rigid - making it difficult to do delicate work such as repairing stuff etc.
Training grip the way climbers or grapplers do would be one idea more useful since both climbing and grappling are useful skills.
training your fingers like this and overdoing it can cause trigger finger and in the worst cases cause it to permanently lock and then require surgery to release.
These exercises must be done with extreme caution and progression must be done very carefully. Magnus Mitbo, a pro climber, is actually unable to fully close his fist due to climbing and climbing training.
>I know but will doing pushups on my fingers actually improve it or how do I go about getting brutally strong in my hands and fingers?
If you want to gouge people, then yes. Grip and hand strength is highly specific, ie you gotta train X to be good at X and training Y or Z won't help your X performance at all.
I am pretty good at hand dynamometers, but my value there has no carryover to grappling, for example.
this is a better routine since it not only strengthens fingers, but wrists as well

this isn't a niche thing, having good finger and wrist strength will help you in every athletic and non athletic endeavor that uses your fingers and wrists.
im not really interested in calisthenics and im a huskier dude so i doubt id be able to do handstand pushups without going on a massive cut [which i dont really want to do cuz i compete in strongman and im already in a weight class lighter than i realistically should be for my frame and height]
i will watch it though

oh and to clarify what i mean by this, i am tall and compete in 100 kg or less. which means i kinda get mogged by short frog mode fat guys who have better leverages than me, even though we weigh the same amount
So people think doing finger push ups requires finger extensor strength but really is finger flexors. This is because the fingers splay out a bit when doing finger pushups and the joint is then off of the line of force. To make sure the finger joints dont collapse you must provixe counter force from the finger flexors. That or develop perfext finger alignment. Then it requires no muscles outside stabilization.

Beyond grip trainers, a variant of physiotherapy equipment for hand injuries is probably what you want.

so does that mean
is wrong?
stop doing meme shit
that fell when I've read enough xianxia to know exactly what this is, and yet never thought people did it irl...
People have done the "Karate bucket" for decades, bro.
>stop doing meme shit
>posts meme shit
by meme i meant shit doesn't work
rice bucket actually works because it's perfect for the type of muscles it trains
And you think fingertip pushups don't work? Are you vaccinated or something?
>rice bucket
>not sand bucket
>muscle
It doesn't train muscle at all. It hardens your fists.
