Just buy the savaleos. They're just as good as the romaleos and cost half as much.

if youre not doing oly lifts or squats, weightlifting shoes are so fricking uncomfortable to walk around in

If you're not doing squats, why aren't you doing squats?

        Anonymous

Why are you walking around in weightlifting shoes. They aren't designed for walking in. They're designed for a stable base. The opposite of walking.

Metcon is meh for everything, compresses when lifting heavy and not comfortable enough for general use. Best gym shoes for general use is "free metcon".

Bought these two weeks ago and they're pretty good for lifting, walking in them is very clunky though because the second half of the shoe doesn't flex at all and you're thunking around the gym. The heel doesn't compress at all and it's a bit lifted.

    Metcon man

Great shoe for mid and for foot runners who are also wanting to get some great depth in squatting, I have long femurs so it helps me get ATG, only con is a too small and too narrow toe box

for squat type movements get actual weightlifting shoes instead of metcons. for everything else just wear flat shoes like converse. the metcons are an awkward in between that don't suit either scenario. worst of both worlds

I love the metcons, good shoes, i got pic related

Perfect middle ground between shit like romaleos and regular converse or something

    >Nike

They are an evil wokecorp and have such shitty fricking QC for their shoes. Back in the 00’s, I had to buy the same pair of brand new shoes— which I admittedly loved— three fricking times because the shoe kept destroying itself. I never put them through any kind of serious abuse. The child slaves couldn’t get it right. My other Nikes, which I bought from a third party seller just before all of the woke shit started, have lasted a long time. That said, they failed in a non-serious way ages ago. Thus, it has been made evident to me through experience that Nikes are prone to failure under even the least strenuous of conditions… probably because they were designed with built-in obsolescence in mind. They are a fast fashion brand with premium sportswear prices.

TL;DR - No, do not buy them. In the interest of not being called a brand shill, I am not going to recommend another brand, but Nikes are shit and the company hates you.

Their return policy is really good and it even applies to custom-made shoes. Give the kids another chance, I say.

Apparently Tyr has some weightlifting shoes for wide feet, if you want flats look for some "barefoot" shoes they're generally wide as shit.

        Anonymous

yeah, issue is that those are typically the equivalent to wide or extra wide. which is way too small. hate this curse.

Have you tried Rebok Nanos? They're wider than Nikes. Oterwise then get the barefoot shoes like vivobarefoot they're duck flippers

It's not good to use shoes with heels as a crutch because you lack mobility

Crossfit shoes like metcons or nanos will offer More ankle support and slight heel lifts compared to converse.

I'm assuming you don't do CrossFit, or else you'd already have a pair. If you want heels for squatz, might as well spend a little extra for real weightlifting shoes.

I lift in metcon Jordans and they are pretty cosy.

If you’re not a fuarkin’ beast, shoes don’t really matter, and if you were you’d know what you like by now.
