Ashwagandha Testosterone benefits

Does anybody here have any experience supplementing Ashwagandha?

I've read it can increase testosterone levels and also decrease cortisol levels and stress.

However I've also seen that there aren't any long-term study on its benefits and side-effects and a possible link with liver damage.

I want to try it but I'm not sure

I got some cheapo chinese tongkat ali + horny goat weed on Amazon and it's definitely real because I feel that.

yeah horny goat weed is legit too. it's not anywhere near as strong as cialis but I take it anyway because the long-term benefits of everyday cialis/viagra seem to be pretty legit, so a bit of hgw consistently probably is similar because it's also a pde-5 inhibitor

tongkat ali I take because it's supposed to be synergistic with fadogia agrestis, though tbh i've never felt anything from it.

fadogia, tongkat, hgw, tribulus are the legit ones imo. but fadogia and hgw are the ones I can actually feel

I take a small dose of cialis daily for the pumps, but it doesn't make me horny. Tongkat and hgw do though.

make sure you get a high quality, reputable brand. it chills you out like crazy. you will still be annoyed at normal life stuff, but you will simply not care. as far as test goes, like all OTC supplements, you need to be living a fairly healthy lifestyle and have it be part of a broad supplement regimen. you're supposed to cycle it if you want to take it long term to avoid frying your emotions or whatever. 4 days on, 3 off type of thing

    Meme pajeet supplements.
All the PubMed ''studies'' are literally made by pajeets.
The only western studies proved that:
    - It bindst to the 5-HT receptor with an allost Ki=1. Basically an herbal SSRI
    - It binds to estrogen receptors; effect unclear
    - Rise TSH to abnormal levels

Bought some random brand from a supermarket and felt really good while on it. Far lower stress and felt calmer in general.
Ordered a larger bag from Amazon that had good reviews and felt absolutely nothing. The color was also lighter than the supermarket stuff.
I guess it's a total shot in the dark regarding quality.
If you get the stuff that works then it works well.

Took a medium dose of this shit, coworkers kept asking me if I was drunk and I felt super sleepy by like 6pm. Not for me.

I only use it after dinner. Sleepy means it's working and you're about to have the most incredible sleep.

ashwagandha is literally suspected to just be a weak herbal ssri
if you think bulldozing your emotions down is good, go ahead
(for some people, it might actually be good)
but if you'd be skeptical about taking ssri antidepressants, you should also be skeptical of ashwagandha

I've noticed my mushroom trips have been weaker since I started taking it. This is an interesting theory. I'm going to stop taking it for a bit and see if they go back. Thanks anon.

i dont really know lately if it does anything to me but when i first started i recalled having more vivid dreams and more flegmatic "i dont care" attitude. I always kinda dont care if i ran over someone with my car but the ashwagandha probably made that even stronger

I've been using for a little over 6 months now and have increased mood balance and better stress tolerance. I get mine from Costco. Jeff Nippard recommended for sleep gains.

I got some rando bulk massive 1kg bag of it on amazon for like $15 probably over a year ago, it's going to expire in 8 months or so but I'd say I definitely got my money's worth. The stuff kind of tastes like dirt. I use probably only a few hundred milligrams to a gram. Close to a quarter tsp of it. Anyway it's been essential to getting really restful sleep lately especially on days with super heavy workouts. I sleep like a stone when I have it, when I don't I'm moving around so much the sheets are destroyed in the morning like a tornado went through so there's a clear difference in the restfulness I feel. I can also sleep over 8 hours on ash which gives me a noticeable mental clarity bump in the 10-12 hour range. I used to cycle it and only take it when I was feeling especially stressed and wanted the sleep on the weekends, but adding it in on the weekdays and just scheduling more time for sleep has been massive for my work.
